After having PCs for years it is great to have a Mac that doesn’t have the issues that PCs do. It takes time getting used to the operating system, but if you have had an iPhone it isn’t to bad!

I DEBATED AND STUDIED SEVERAL COMPUTERS BEFORE I DECIDED ON THIS PRODUCT. IT WAS EXPENSIVE, BUT WELL WORTH THE PRICE. THE DOWNSIDES ARE I WISH IT WAS TOUCH SCREEN AND I WISH IT HAD MORE MEMORY.

This laptop has everything. We love it. The touch bar makes it so easy to use. And it’s not heavy!

Super light, great Retina display. Really fast and space grey shell is a nice change from silver.

As a software developer, I need to rely on a computer that gives me the up time for software development. This computer turns on when I open the lid which I find is a very cool feature.

ive had one problem where the laptop shut off by itself and needed me to press and hold the power button to turn off then turn back on. it came back on and left me confused. that was in the frist week and now that i am in my 3rd month i have had no issues with the laptop. Space is an issues for ram but posibly because it is a laptop and not a desktop. Any how i do like the laptop and it came at a great price. thanks

This is my Third MBPro. I started with the 15" 2007 Model which was great and stolen from my office. I made a serious upgrade after that and bought the MacPro Tower. Amazing. From there I had the 2015 MBPro which my daughter now has since her computer died. On each of these I edit large RAW files and do video editing occasionally. On the MacBook's I always use external drives. This new MBPro has worked extremely well so far. The one glitch is the USB C ports that I have to use adaptors for. Glitch may not be the right word but the drives just don't seem as fast as they should. And I have had one case of data imported from a CF card that was corrupted in the transfer due to a bad connection. I deleted the files, switched adaptors, and everything was perfect. Still, I don't like the thought of that type thing happening. Once accessories catch up(and my budget allows the purchasing of the accessories) I guess this problem will go away. I use Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom most often. I still have the old Aperture program that I run since I have hundreds of thousands of images in Aperture Libraries that I'll pull an image from occasionally. I need to commit everything to Light Room at some point but that kind of time isn't in my schedule! Overall, I think this is a great computer. I have it connected most days to a 4K monitor and Bluetooth Apple keyboard and pad. No issues there. Touch bar works fine but I don't use it often. Good overall investment if you are a mac person. If you're not a Mac Person, this may just convert you!

I love my new MacBook Pro.It is so easy to use. I love the touch bar at the top of the keyboard.

The touch bar is a cool way to save time and its faster than my last 2014 model by far.

I bought this back in January, when it was unknown when the new 2018 MBP would be updated, I'm glad I made the jump even though the current 15" models got a processor bump. The keyboard in the new one is still the butterfly except it has the protective membrane. I use the wireless keyboard and my MBP with a dock and external display so I'm not too concerned about any of the problems that plague some people.

The latest MacBook Pro is even more powerful than previous versions. Easy to use. And fun!

I personally was holding out on getting this machine but do to an issue with my laptop was forced in a way to upgrade. I was waiting out for the expected refresh for this year but I haven o regrets with this machine. It. is fast quite, smooth, and without the bugs reported with the 2016 variant. Some annoyances do exist in the form of the port selection but that is a small compromise. Buy it it is that good.

I've had a zillion macs, dating back to 1990. This was replacing a 2013 15" macbook pro. It's thinner, lighter, and looks amazing in Space Grey. But honestly? I'm not thrilled with a few things. The 4 usb-c/thunderbolt ports really do "hurt" more than I thought. Lots of adapters. Lots. No magsafe also hurts. No SD card slot hurts. Touchbar? Never used it. Keyboard? I liked the new low-travel keys more than I thought I would. Screen? Outstanding. Power? Well, it doesn't feel any faster than my 2013. I think this is a transitional model. The next version will be faster. Speed is what matters most to me, and this just doesn't have enough more than my 5 year old mac to give it 5 stars like I normally would.

I waited to buy my Mac Book Pro until Apple upgraded the CPU to the 7th generation intel core i7, and I am glad I did. The performance on this machine is outstanding. I was concerned about the new thin style for the keyboard having read so many reviews about how it is too thin. However, after using it for a few weeks, I've found that I prefer it to the older keyboard style. This is one of the best computers I've bought.

Great speed and processing. Lightweight. Very modern features that contribute to ease of use.

changed over from a windows 10 MS surface pro, that froze up after 9 days so I ditched the windows operating system / & have gone over to the new Mac Pro like it a lot
