For the power user, this is a great machine. It's as fast as my iMac with 24gb of RAM, running music recording programs and synth emulations. The lack of ports is not an issue, as I also purchased a HyperDrive that seems like a perfect companion and gives me all the traditional hookups.

The MacBook Pro is very sleek and intuitive to use. Surprisingly, I didn’t think I was going to like the touchbar, but it’s a great addition to the MacBook, and does make maneuvering around tabs, programs, music, and videos a little easier. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Works great. Only complaint is sometimes I hit the touch bar when I’m typing and it annoys me.

I have the MacBook Pro 15” 512gb 16gb ram it is an excellent computer for everything that I do.

This notebook is big on power and even bigger on great looks. In a word this MacBook Rocks!!

The retina display makes a huge difference in the picture quality and the sound on this laptop makes one feel as if they have surround sound. The processor is fantastic for utilizing software such as Photoshop. I look forward to bootcamping in for Archie purposes.

My 2011-era MB started to slow way down so I invested in a 2018 MB Pro (16GB, 512GB SSD, Retina Display). What a powerhouse! I've been an Apple geek for many years; I've owned several PCs and PC laptops and loved having all sorts of peripheral ports. This isn't such an issue for Apple-ers but PC-ers may miss just "plugging in"...we Apple-ers resign to the advent of "future-proofing" as the world leans towards downloading, streaming, and Wi-Fi. The USB-C ports are faster than my old USB-A,B ports on my old machines. You get 4 USB-C ports on a new MB...here's one payoff: instead of just being able to hook up my HDMI, VGA, USB peripherals I can now adapt to almost everything out there (the possibilities are vast). Now, for the deal closer for me: Apple Customer Service, bar none, far exceeds any other customer service I've EVER had to deal with. This alone has justified my purchase.

We love our Mac book. It was a great investment. We use it for college & home finances.

I use this for all of my photo and video editing, very fast and good rendering times

Couldn't really ask for more on this laptop. Would like to see more options for peripherals and not to have to buy a dongle for any and everything. That is the biggest drawback to this product.

Easy to use. Lots of space. Plenty of memory. A little pricey but that’s the best your gonna get from apple.

I purchased this Mac over the surface pro book. It was a tough decision but my Mac books had never let me down and the interface is amazing . It runs smoothly, never hear a fan, and I use photoshop and illustrator just fine on this machine. Never a hiccup..

Apple MacBooks are super fast and efficient computers, they don’t slow down in a matter of weeks like windows computers, this one is perfect, the power I need and the high speed I always get. No matter the programs that are open all at one time

This is a great laptop nice, thin, sleek, with good of performance for moderate tasks. But after about a year some of the keys stopped working. This is apparently a known issue all touchbar this models. Luckily Apple has addressed this issue and is repairing units out of warranty for up to three years passed purchase date. It's just a little annoying having to wait seven days for your computer to be repaired.
