LOVE THE NEW MACBOOK PRO WITH THE 15 INCH DISPLAY.

The keyboard is garbage. The screen is beautiful. The touch bar is "meh," but could be useful to certain people using programs which make effective use of it. Me, I'd rather have a physical ESC key and volume button instead of this junk. Did I mention the keyboard is the worst Apple's ever made? And then there's the heat issues,.... It runs hot because it's a high performance processor. But Apple in it's illogical quest to make these laptops thinner has created a machine that can't run at full speed due to how hot its components get. To compensate, and likely prevent a house fire, the processor drops to 50% speed, or worse. It's very slow even surfing the internet, once the processor gets hot. Complete waste of money for a machine this expensive. Did I forget to mention how the keyboard is complete trash?

i got this to replace my 2014 Lenovo Y510p for doing photo editing using light room, its been few weeks now playing around. So for its speed (not loaded my lightroom catalog fully - will update my review after few months) and i'm new to mac which makes little bit difficult in experimenting . very much fascinated with the display quality and light weight and simple design, having issues in connecting my existing hardware's like USB drives or External HDD to this without making an additional purchase, so plan to buy hyper drive hub usb-c during thanks giving, as bestbuy going to have a deal of 69.99 USD for connecting to HDMI or my existing external hard drives or memory cards. feel like working on a mechanical keyboard, eventhough heard bad reviews on apple butterfly keyboard, i'm feeling its not that bad. still not given much stress to the mac. I had issues in setting up Time machine, contacted apple support and they asked me to work with hard disk vendor, seems support person lacking knowledge on resolving the issue. Finally i could able to google and fix the issue myself. get back to you all with updated review after hands on tests.

Great machine for all sorts of applications, professionals and students alike. Wish the laptop could be much lighter.

Bought for my daughter to use in high school. She uses everyday and has no complaints. Only knock I would state was the cost.

Love this device, it has been hard getting used to the full wireless idea in a world that sill uses a lot of cords.

The newest 2019 MBPs are the best, but this MBP 2018 remains a quality product worth purchasing.

Excellent display, trackpad, and key board. Battery life is less than expected even when graphics card is turned off.

Seems good. Wish there was an instructional manual included. Have 2 rely on other people with Apples for instructions

It is adequate fit on the new MacBook Pro but could be designed with a little more fit, form, and functionality.

I'll start by saying I have an iPhone and iPad already so I'm not anti Apple, but really I expected better build quality and support at this price point. I have a key on my keyboard that works intermittently and getting service is a royal pain. The general statement given is "it's not too bad, you should try to live with it". Definitely not happy I bought a Mac at the moment. The software works... as well as windows. Not better. Sorry folks, but that's the truth. I wouldn't say it's worse, but there are a fair amount of issues with Mac OS as well. If you like the usability of a Mac, by all means stay with it, but if you're tight on money, stay away.

Its a decent laptop but it runs a bit slower than my MacBook Air - not sure why but otherwise, its good.

New MacBook Pro is such a fast laptop. Bright, clear screen. Haven't mastered dictation text yet.
