Had a colleague in need of a connector for her MacBook told her the great experience I had with the adapter and ordered one for her. It worked like a gem.

I already owned an older flat screen monitor when I bought a Mac Mini. I needed this adapter dongle to connect it to the Mac's mini display port. Does the job.

I purchased this to connect a second monitor to my Mac mini because I only had a DVI cord. Connector worked great and I was up and running in minutes.

Needed it for my Cintiq and yes it works great. Just plug and play.

So what. You need to see another monitor? Lemme tell you. This makes it happen. It's like the second coming of Christ. Just so dang perfect. DO IT!

its an apple product. is there ever any doubt that it will excel at what ever the purpose of it is?.. Does exactly what it is supposed to.

Makes it easier to connect a Mac to an older display that doesn't have VGA or HDMI. This allows a new computer to be used with an old display.

After having purchased a non-Apple adapter a few years back, it finally had issues. Flickering screen, bad resolution, etc. I decided to buy the original Apple adapter and no issues whatsoever the screen works fantastic without any flicker or bad resolution. Should have bough the original product in the first place. Lesson learned.

This adapter is actually what I needed. While there are third party products, U have typically stuck to Apple's accessories and have ben relatively happy (sans their lightning chargers but that's another review for another time). You may find a cheaper option for this from a third party maker, but as far quality you can't beat Apple's own product.

I purchased this port for my mac book to my wacom tablet and it works perfectly. I had gotten the cheaper, off brand version of this port and the connection kept cutting out and giving me the green screen of death, so im very happy with the Apple brand. I've had it for almost a month and so far no issues at all.

Works a treat for my multi monitor setup from my 13" Macbook! I have my first monitor using the hdmi connection and this as my second.

Product works as promised. Great connection for my monitor connections using older 22" monitors from HP to my new Apple iMac.

Apple-branded adapter to connect multiple displays to your MacBook/Air/Pro laptop. Uses the miniDisplay port or Thunderbolt on the Retina MacBook Pro. Works exactly as intended. You may be able to save $5 and get a non-Apple branded version. Really does become a matter of personal choice.

A good product; enables me to use the digital hookup on my Macbook Air to a desktop monitor. Very simple.
