What u would expect from an older model but works as it advertised. Pressure sensitivity decreases faster if you are more heavy handed but it doesn't reduce the efficacy for most uses. If you are intending to use it for art you may want to consider that but most apps have settings that you can reasonable accommodate for the change over time. My last one lasted around 3 years

I'm curious. Has anyone won the $400 Best Buy gift card for submitting a review? I gave it five stars for the aesthetics and quality. I can't speak on how well it works since I took it back since my wife didn't feel it would be something she would ever use.

This is especially good to use for drawing because of the pressure sensitivity. The Apple Pencil is a lot more expensive than other third-party options, but it has the refinement and feel that make it worth it if you are willing to pay for it. It also charges very fast.

My iPad is very old and it is convenient to use the pencil for tapping on small objects and manipulating icons. I have recently retired from public school teaching and used my device extensively for data recording as well as teaching small groups.

I had purchased a generic version of the Pencil for my iPad. It worked but seemed to not flow as well as I would like. So the Apple Pencil 1st gen went on sale at Best Buy and I bought one. I really like it. My procreate app is so much more responsive with this pencil over the generic version.

Purchased as gift for granddaughter. She uses it all the time. Just wish the cap had something to hold on to the pen. It's so small it can get misplaced easily
