Works as advertised. Obviously Apple makes its products to work best with other Apple products such that generic and other brands don’t work as well so this is worth it. Receptive. Adaptive and a great pair with the iPad. If you write a lot or do art, definitely suggest getting this if you use apple products for those projects.

Great tool for my new iPad…works great for games. I’ve used it daily for working on my iPad.

When you buy the iPad you also need the iPad pencil because there are times that you have to sign documents and your fingers just don't get the letters the way the iPad pin does so for my advice I advise everybody that buys an iPad to buy the pen along with it it's the right thing to do.

I did not think I would need this when I bought my iPad but it is a great tool. It’s great for notes and handwriting on the tablet, yet another unique advantage to both. Having to charge it, really isn’t a downside since the life is so long and charges quickly.

The quality of my apple pen is amazing! It writes smooth and is has a sleek modern design. If you want a more paper feel when writing on the iPad, then I recommend buying paperlike screen protector 2pk. There are other accessories you can buy for your Apple pen like changing the tips and adding a case

After purchasing a new IPad and reading reviews of the Apple Pencil (First Generation), I decided to take the leap and buy the Apple Pencil. While I am still learning other uses for the Apple Pencil, I am very satisfied with the way it feels in my hand as I use it. The connection from tip to screen is great and there is no “lag time.” Initially, I had no screen protector, but I do now and am still satisfied with the connection. I do not have to press any harder for the tip and screen to communicate, so to speak. As others have stated, the charging position is a bit awkward, but because the Apple Pencil charges so quickly, having it in that position is only a minor inconvenience. All in all, I am very satisfied with my Apple Pencil and am very happy I decided to purchase it.

Customer Service was amazing! At the geek squad (I’m assuming) the referral was simple and fast and I was shown how to make the purchase via online shipping and tho the item wasn’t in the branch it definitely was online. I’ve been concerned that if I bought the item i’d get the wrong thing (The Type-C adapter Apple Pen Gen 1) It was confusing but when a worker explained to me it made it easier. Thank you Best Buy!
