    This pencil writes very smoothly and easily on the surface of my iPad even though I applied a screen protector as soon as I received the iPad. One warning: the pencil is very sensitive to being squeezed. Doing so will call up a menu where you can choose whatever function you want the pencil to assume (such as to draw or to erase), so you must hold the pencil gently while being used.

    I had to trade in my regular Apple Pencil for this because of compatibility with the new ipad. I don’t like the squeeze and reverse feature. I wish the ipad was compatible with the original.
