The pen is necessary to the iPad.I purchased earlier.It is a gift.I have not personally had a chance to use it

I bought this product to be used with a new IPAD A16 I bought at the same time, based on the recommendations of the 2 sales guys at the Best Buy Clearwater store. They assured me it would work with my new IPAD. When I got home, which was out of the USA, I tried the pencil pro with my new ipad only to finally work out that it was not compatible with the A16 new model. By then, I no longer had the possibility to return the pencil pro to Best buy for either a refund or exchange for something that worked with my new IPad. I tried phoning both Best Buy and Apple, but by then there was nothing further I could do to rectify the situation. So, I actually have no idea how well the product itself works, but the Best Buy Customer Service advice by both of the Sales guys was completely uninformed and to my mind inexcusable - hence my low overall rating !! Therefore, I cannot recommend this item because I have never used it as per the forgoing!

LIke it very much great service. I have pleasant experience with Bestbuy most of the time. It helps to have a local store close to me too.

I'm enjoying the whole new experience of digital writing. Highly recommend. The only concern is that it fails to be added in "Find My" app.

Best for i-pad pro. Light and smooth. Finishing and quality is best.

First time trying out the pencil and it works great with my iPad Air M2, using it for work notes highly recommend.

It works as expected and there are no issues with it. The only thing I don’t like is that it seems to be top-heavy, and it only comes in white.

Only works for the newest Ipad Pro and Ipad Air. Doesn't work with any other Ipad. Don't get your hopes up when you buy this one thinking it will work. When I went to return it, the returns case was full of these items from people who assumed the same thing.

It’s just what you need, light and slowly duty you don’t need to apply much pressure.
