I chose the USB-C version of the apple pencil because I only use it to write/journal/color, so I didn't really need all the additional features of the higher end version. The battery life is pretty good, only having charged it once since I purchased it about a month ago and I use it for a few minutes almost every day. It is highly responsive, doesn't lag at all for me. I took away a star because I didn't like that I had to buy a new apple pencil for the new iPad when I would have liked to use my 2nd gen that I already had for my 3rd gen iPad pro. Be sure to check which versions of the iPad work with each Apple Pencil so you don't waste your time or money!

If I had proper reading comprehension, and perhaps if Apple would just put a guide out for artists with a big ol' disclaimer that reads "THIS DOES NOT HAVE PRESSURE SENSITIVITY, IT RELIES ON TILT CONTROL AND IS USELESS FOR MOST ARTISTS' NEEDS" I would have learned this pen does not work as I needed it to. It is a very nice pen though, and I really like the USB-C connector! ARTISTS!!! Get the Ipad Apple Pen 1st Generation, use the connector to charge and connect. I'm sorry Apple can't make one single thing right.

I love this pencil. It's my first time using it, and it makes taking notes great, and easy. I also use it for digital coloring books and other art-like things. I like it so much I'm going to try taking some digital art classes. I was worried about scratching the screen, but I just check for debris, and it's fine. Definitely leveled up my iPad experience.

This thing is great. I was a little skeptical when I first used it, but realized how to become very effective with it, just as a daily driver on my ipad. I'm not using it for textured drawing or anything, but love how accurate and precise it is for my needs.

My pen for my tablet is the best piece of equipment ever. Because it serves multiple functions and allows me to easily access folders, write on forms, and scrolling up/down on the screen, it makes the use or usability of my tablet perfect. Highly recommend this product if you have a IPad.

The Apple Pencil is great the battery has last me up to two days love using it for notes or drawing would recommend if you really need it .

I love this one more than any other Apple Pencil because you don’t take the battery out of your iPad instead you just charge it like if it’s a normal phone or iPad. Way better then taking all that battery from your iPad and it still could stay on the side of your iPad just like any other Apple Pencil.

Upgraded from my old apple pencil. works great with my new ipad. Seamless and more light compared to my older apple pencil which I like for note taking.

I love it! Holds a charge for awhile. No pressure sensitivity but that’s ok!

I have purchased several apple pencils and I like this design the best. I can't lose the cap unless it gets broken off. Easy to pair and use.

I love it, I use it to draw on procreate, charges pretty fast and last a while

i hate the inconvenience of the compatibility of the pencils and ipads but this pencil charges so fast and its battery life is amazing.
