works well with ipad 10 gen, i mainly wanted to use this for sculpting since i use the ipad as a laptop for my projects and found out i can use it for writing with the ipad translating onto typed words which i did not have with my generic one. battery last quite long only charged once since i got it over a month ago

As a pencil it works fine, my problem is with pairing and charging. Apple is starting to tarnish a bit in my eye. I have Mac, Mac laptop, iPad Air, iPad mini and three iPhones. I do not plan to ever replace them all at once. My old pencil charged and paired with any phone or pad, but since my mini is dying, I purchased a new one. Then I had to purchase the pencil because disappointment happens you realize you now have a port type. Disappointed again when purchasing pencil upon finding out that I now have to charge the pencil separately, it doesn’t charge from the pad. So another chord and a separate pencil, all so apple can keep changing their charging ports.every time i buy a new apple product and it isn’t compatible with my others, I get a little closer to returning to windows/android.

Perfect accessories to the iPad and my son loved it and it helps with his homework.

It's ok, does what it says. Would be nice if they included a charger plug. Apple tends to nickel and dime you with everything
