It’s pricey but worth it. Got my wife a new iPad and the old pen was just not the right option due to it being lightning connection. Keep this in mind when considering the new iPad with usb-c. The new pen has no cap to lose or keep track of and super easy to set up. If they go on sale get you one.

I use this pencil for my notes for school and it's really good. The only thing about it is the fact that it needs to be plugged into the iPad to charge. It can be a little annoying when it randomly dies.

The only thing I’ve found to be weird is the way you charge it. I had an Apple Pencil that was different and it would charge while connected to your tablet by magnet.
