This feature stripped version of the Apple Pencil is NOT worth the savings due to the completely hamstrung feature list. Lacking pressure sensitivity makes this USELESS for artists and even borderline useless for handwriting. On top of that the lack of charging by attaching to the side of your iPad makes it a chore to keep charged. Don't waste your money on this.

I was really hoping to use this pencil across multiple iPads similar to the Logitech Crayon but this Apple Pencil (USB-C) still needs to pair with a SINGLE device by connection with a USB-C cable. If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to the traditional Apple Pencil, get this but this isn’t an alternative to the similarly priced Logitech Crayon (which will probably drop in cost soon).

If you want a basic pencil with the apple logo this is the pencil for you. But if you want wireless charging and find my device get the pro.

I purchased the Apple Pencil because I got tired of always replacing the stylus, the type with the rubber tip. I don’t use it for writing notes or drawing, just basically for scrolling. Pros Does not smudge the screen like the rubber tipped stylus does. Magnetically attaches to the side of my IPad for easy storage. Con’s Needs to get charged frequently The pencil keypad is small unlike the usual IPad keypad Cannot use to swipe up from bottom, still must use your finger

Worth the change.. you’ll get use to the charging style.. price makes up for the set back. I rarely used the tap so I’m not really missing out. Pencil writes perfectly fine.
