I bought the Apple-Pencil (USB) with the iPad and so far I'm learning all the things I can do with it. It was a little expensive but, the Pencil has worked fine so far. Yes, I would recommend this but check if a lower price is available.

The new USB-C Apple Pencil is a definite improvement over the 1st generation Pencil. With the integrated cap, you no longer have to worry about losing it.

If you already have an iPad, you might as well get the Apple Pencil. I like using mine for school and notes and writing even outside of the professional setting. I have a Notes app and you pay like a yearly subscription and I never lose papers anymore. Great improvement to my life.

It works. I mean all I really expect is that it does what it’s supposed to and it does. I use it with the iPad 11th gen mainly for Procreate and it works great!
