    When it works it is great! The tip broke not long after purchase. I have the Best Buy total protection plan so I scheduled time at Best Buy for repair. At appointment Best Buy advised that they CANNOT repair the tip and I have to take it Apple. And the total protection does not help only extended Apple warranty. Called Apple and the price to repair is same as new pencil!! Googled it and found a way to DIY repair with tweezers. Also saw that this is common problem according to comments.

    Only issue was the top piece that slides back to reveal charging port got stuck and otherwise good product.

    While it does write well, it has trouble staying connected and it is not user-friendly like Apple products have been known for. It can be annoying to use, so unless you will use it daily, I would say its a bad buy.

    I upgraded my iPad and had to get a new Apple Pencil. This Apple Pencil is sleeker than its predecessor and nice and compact.

    First pencil did not connect. Went back to Best Buy and they got us up and running with another pencil.
