Gave it 4 stars because its smaller than the 1st gen and the voice button is on the side. I do like the added power button, mute button and up,down,right,left arrow button.

This remote replaced my older black Apple TV remote that finally stopped working. The setup and connection to my Apple TV was really easy and it started working right away. Perfect add on to the Apple TV box, easy to use long, long storage battery after charging like it

This replacement Apple TV remote works like the original. I did not have to do anything, just turn on my TV and start using the remote. Not one glitch.

I bought the remote to have a second remote for the same Apple TV Gen2 streaming device. The Apple Rep at the store told me you could pair two remotes to the same unit - WRONG. When you pair a new remote, it de-pairs the original paired remote. I was able to use the remote for my prior generation Apple TV streamer which it works much better than the first generation remote.

I purchased the Siri Remote 3rd gen to replace my previous second gen remote, which I found to be too small and light—it was constantly getting lost! This new remote is a significant improvement. It feels more sturdy and comfortable to use in my hand, making it much harder to misplace. The functionality is excellent, especially the touch-enabled clickpad for easy navigation and the ability to use Siri for voice control. While it is on the expensive side for a remote, the enhanced usability and build quality have made it worth the purchase for me.
