I yave had an apple tv for years and with this new remote fixing issues such as having better recognition on the touchpad as well as the addition of button. The size is also great and am losing it alot less

Great replacement for the original Apple TV remote. Much easer to navigate Apple TV menus and better tactile feedback. The remote also provides voice access to Siri, which I have not tried yet.

I have had the apple TV for about 4 years now and the controller finally gave out i was hesitant on buying the same model 4th gen so i went it and saw the newer one and it had been great and easier to use!! Highly recommend if you have the old one

Much easier to use than the earlier generation remotes. Easier scrolling function and having a dedicated power button is helpful.

A definite upgrade to the basic remote. I would often have problems getting the remote to move to the right spot on the basic remote’s touch pad, but this one has the ability to click buttons OR use touch, much better.

Apple OEM remote. Replacing my other one due to power button breaking and falling out. Hoping it was just a fluke!

Superior remote. Apple has redone their launch and 2nd generation remote into something sleek and functional. We lost our remote and replaced it with the newest one and wow. seriously the difference and quality of the build of the remote make you look at it like a little metal piece of art. 10/10

You’d think a remote with a solid titanium body would be able to handle a few years of gentle, general use, but no! Our old one became erratic and non-responsive and needed to be replaced. It had nothing to do with something a reset would solve. The battery was working fine, but the ring was just acting up, along with every other button available on the remote’s surface. Internal spring(s) broken? Having to buy a new Apple remote every 2-3 years sets you back about $60 each time. That is quite a bit of “spare change” for a simple accessory like a TV remote.

I like this remote much more than the older one. I bought 2 Sony TV’s at Best Buy and the Apple TV attachment’s. One remote gave up and we turned it in for the new one.

I love this remote for AppleTV. The older models I felt were a little difficult to use... especially for us seniors. This streamlines the usage.
