The best remote! Much better than the original remote from the old version

This is a huge improvement over the 1st gen remotes the Apple 4k TV came with. Controls are much easier to use, it’s big enough were it doesn’t slip disappear easily and it’s not slippery like the old one.

My old controller died a death of old age. I am please with the controller and its operation. Yes I would buy again.

Great update to previous remotes. Combines touch and directional uses. Very easy to use and very well made.

Works great love having mute and single power button to turn off. Usual Apple no instructions. But if you hold power button powers down without multiple pad moves and clicks.

It's the best remote Apple has made to date. The swipe gestures still work, but they are no longer necessary. Having find my built in is a godsend as well, for those who have kids wo take the remote and wander away. If you're not in the Apple ecosystem you do miss out on a few features, but if you're in these are unparalleled. Setup is extremely simple. Bring it close to your Apple TV, it gets detected and paired, and you're good to go.

Product arrived as scheduled. Love the mute button! A good size, bigger than the standard remote but not too large.

Welcome upgrade to the previous remote. Easy to use. Would definitely recommend.

This new AppleTV Remote which replaces my current remote which became defective, was too easy to setup. So happy Best Buy had it on the spot! Love the convenience of having Best Buy around!

It was so easy to connect! We love the mute feature on this remote. We also love that it is thicker and more durable than the older remotes.

This replaced my original and really way too small original Apple Remote. This present version is much more interactive and intuitive. There's no guess work involved. Glad they updated it.

This is the best Apple TV remote by far, we had broken the one we had just like it and had to buy another one.

Better than the previous glass top remote. Plus the rechargeable battery via usb C its a great improvement.

For the longest time i hated the way they made the black remote for the 2nd generation apple tv. Touch pad was prone to cracking and lagging when your fingers move too fast while scrolling. The original remote ended up getting washed in the washing machine accidentally, so ended up buying this newer generation remote and they did a great job with this one, wayyyy easier to use, still have the touch option, but also a clicking option, it now has a power on and off button, its a lot more solid and heavier than the previous remotes, the only con is the spot they stuck the mic option, but overall i wish i made this purchase wayy sooner than dealing with that second gen remote.
