    Apple, in their infinite wisdom, thinks everything is more "intuitive", or "Natural" than it really is, but I digress. I'm glad i got this remote for every TV in the house. I originally got one for the three we us all the time but after a while forgot how to use the old one. These really do work better from an intuitive standpoint. A bit pricey ($30 would be fair) but I like them. They should be the standard. I think they are now actually. I use them and like them but would not jump up and down and say "You need this!".

    This remote is a much needed improvement over the original. The old remote only had a touchpad. This new remote not only has directional buttons but there is an option to turn the selection button into a touchpad. This is a more versatile remote. The metal frame with added weight and usb-c support are also welcome upgrades.

    Had to replace an existing remote less than 3 years old. Typical Apple crap! Does this one work - yes. Will it last - probably not. Never had a bit of trouble with Roku's but wife loves her Apple junk!

    I love Apple products. When my remote went missing, I tried one of the knock offs. No go. Purchased this replacement remote. Love it.

    Best remote Apple has made for the Apple TV. I hated the previous remotes didn’t have a true on and off button. So that alone is huge. I believe that any generation of the Apple TV that has a black box can work with this remote.

    This is the remote that should have come with the Apple TV 4K from the start. I bought this as a replacement because the original was glass and shattered. This one is sturdy and hefty. It has fallen on the floor and not a scratch is showing.
