Very easy to use adapter. No lagging or disconnection. Great to use older VGA port projectors and other devices with my mac and ipad.

I have purchased cheaper versions of this product before and the results have never been good. I bought the adapter to use for an event. The Mac we purchased uses the new USB3 which threw me off guard a little but the adapter worked great. The quality is excellent and it did everything it was supposed to.

Works great , with the adapter you dont have to buy any more because it has 3 in 1 .. and works great with each function.

I love Apple products!! Expensive but definitely worth it and easy to use.

Best hub out there. Nice that Apple released a firmware update to keep this relevant with the 2016 model. Other 3rd Party hubs do not have this ability. Is it a bit pricy? Yes, but you get what you pay for. Would recommend this to other prospective buyers for their 2015 or 2016 MacBook.

Used a couple of these for work in the past. Works as advertised.

After multiple attempts to procure the correct adapter for my spare PC (non apple) monitor, this item ended up being what worked for my VGA adapter. Before, I was buying multiple pieces to build a "bridge" and it was not only chaotic but not working appropriately. I don't need any other adapters; this is the only middleman that I require at this point. It doesn't overheat in the port, and it is a lot sturdier than some of the other pieces of bridging equipment I first purchased. Going from MAC to PC is hard, so make sure you work with Apple first to understand what you need for your pieces (even the folks at Best Buy may not offer the best advice).

Needed this to connect my Mac to an extra monitor for work at home. It works great but I don’t understand why a component like this cost $70. Still works as advertised though so I can’t complain.

I've had a monitor for several years that still works and looks great. Wanted to use it with a new iMac. This works great; however, when I got it home I realized it was used. The inserts were all wrinkled up and the adapter had fingerprints all over it. Not happy at all with the store I bought it from - they should have sold the item at an "open-box" price, not at full retail. What a shady way to do business! This kind of thing makes want to avoid these stores - it's like everybody wants to get over on somebody one way or another. Ewww!

Works well for what we needed which is connecting a Mac mini to a VGA projector. A bit pricy like all other Apple stuff, but seems to work well.

Why risk my Apple laptop with non Apple accessories? I much rather use Apple original accessories; they are more expensive, but I know they will not negatively affect my laptop. This adapter works flawlessly.

This adapter works mostly perfectly. Occasionally, there is some distortion on external monitor and I have to unplug the adapter and plug it back in again it works. i only had to spend $180+ in dongles to get this new Macbook to work in all the meeting rooms at my work. Good job Apple!

While USB-C is a bit ahead of time, it is convenient, although more accesscories needed. This little thing save my life! I can now charge my phone and connect to external monitor with it! Good quality.

i buy it for my new MacBook, although the price is high, it is only one work with my new MacBook and it work good. the only thing i think it is not good is for the only one normal usb connector in here.

quality wise it's good. if you're someone who wants to save bucks then you can buy similar products online at a very lower price. otherwise, if you are looking for something that is quality built and the price isn't a big of a deal, by all means, get it.

This HDMI adapter is a must. It’s plug and play makes it very easy to mirror your iPad or iPhone to your big screen TV.

Good and easy to use good quality and very adaptable

Product is easy to use and displays a good picture. would have preferred it to be a solid piece and not something that hangs off but the Extra USB port is nice as well. If you plan on buying the new Macbook Pro plan on buying on or two of these types of adapters.

Game changer! I was excited to find this little gem. For some, I am sure you may read this review and think, "What took you so long?" Well, I don't claim to be a tech guru. I just know what I need when I need it and it was the perfect tool for me when I needed to connect my extra monitors to my laptop for my podcast. You will not be disappointed!
