I had a problem activating the modem on Xfinity initially. The first time a tried it seemed successful but minutes later it wasn't working. I tried several more times with the same results and decided to wait to see if it would resolve it self and it did. It took about an hour but has now worked flawlessly. Maybe it just needed time to propagate the new modem throughout the network. I can't speak to the Wi-FI router capabilities as I am using a separate router with it.

Exceeded my expectations. Great speed with telephony! Easy hook up plenty of ports and USB. Two wireless networks! (which was a pleasant surprise) Even the Xfinity tech said he thought it was one of the best on the market, and it cost less than it's competitors!

Easy to install. Works great with Comcast service. Have not had any problems with it. This is second Arris SURFboard. Had the last one for 5 years-nothing wrong with last one just needed to upgrade.

I purchased this Modem because it is certified to work with the Xfinity Cable service that I signed up for. It works great and includes a voice modem for a land line phone. Wi-Fi works great and has both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz capability.

Best and easiest setup for Comcast cable services. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because without the battery backup the unit resets to almost default settings when power is lost.

We have been quite pleased with this cable modem for almost two years. It has saved us a great deal of money formerly spent on monthly service fees with an internet provider.

I replaced my router as I was tired of paying a monthly rental fee to Comcast which keeps going up and up. This router is the identical one that Comcast rents for $11.00 a month, a no brained and it was easy to do. I highly recommend this product

Replaced a long time modem/router combo after a move. Didn't change my ISP or internet plan speed, but once this Arris was setup, it doubled my previous speed. This thing rocks.

This is not cheap but you get what you pay for. This has eliminated dead spots in home and it has phone ports two phone jacks. You will need to contact Comcast to transfer this modem from the old modem. Spent maybe a total of 45 minutes to set up.

I finally decided to purchase my own device instead of paying Comcast a rental fee each month and I have not been disappointed. My network runs much faster and doesn't disconnect. Also, my wifi signal is much strong!! I'm loving it!

This modem is great to save money from renting a Comcast modem, I has the ability to handle an internet connection of up to 800 mbps plus the added benefit of the telephone jacks to hook up an external fax machine or home phone line.

I bought this and thought I might have trouble installing it. I didn't. I hooked it up and called Comcast and they helped me with what I couldn't do on my own. Porting home phone number over. It works great and has better signal strength than Comcast.

Having a problem with it OR Xfinity. Everytime I "Boot=Up" message comes up, "You are not connected with the Internet". I have to go up to the tool bar and click-on the Wi-Fi symbol and click on the correct numbers that are shown for my modem. SOMEHOW it keeps slipping the correct number, even while I'm viewing my e=mails. It is VERY bothersome. Never happened with my previous server [the company AT&T provides - Uverse, I think]. Can't answer question below [Help us break it down]. Need to have problem above fixed first and then use it for awhile.
