Upload and download speed are great. Set up very quickly with one call to TWC.

Solid Router

Exactly What I Need

While reading reviews of different companies, a few reviewers mentioned the idea of buying my own cable modem. I didn't realize how much extra they (TWC) charge to "rent" a modem. For less than a year of "rent", I could own my own modem. Taking these good people's advice, I began shopping for a reliable cable modem. Reading online reviews narrowed my search down to this one. Best price, and excellent reliability. We have a 20 Mbps plan, and this device handles the speed easily. Even the cable installer told me we picked a great modem. He installed it for us, but I know I could easily do it myself next time.

Fast modem easy to install

The big drawback here is unlike a lot of other modems you cannot go in and change settings such as channel, DHCP address range or even type of security settings. If that doesn't bother you it's a good deal and gets a good download speed.
