Read the reviews and this seemed like the best one for me with the IP speed we have with Comcast. I also already had an airport express. Setup was simple and quick with my macbook and airport. No issues and my speeds are fast. The lights on it are bright but i read that a little bit of black tape will fix that. This would be my only complaint, but it seems like everything comes with these super bright LED's anymore.

I got tired of paying monthly cable fees so I decided to buy one. The price was right and the reviews indicated it was a good product. It was easy to connect, setup and for the most part works well. We have noticed an increase in the number of internet drops. We have to unplug the box and let it restart. I'm not totally sure it's the box or some other factor, but the restart tends to fix the problem.

The modem is everything I was looking for, high performance and freedom from rental fees. A quick heads up, if you are looking to get out of paying monthly fees to the cable company, you will more than likely need to call them once you have set up your modem. Your first clue that you need to call is that you will have the simple set up completed and there will be no connection! I had to provide a code to my cable company (located on the bottom of the modem) for them to verify and send a signal. Once that connection was made, I was off without further issue. No complaints at all and I have now had it (rent free) for several months.

Great direct replacement for the cable company box but it actually works! Much faster and very simple to install.

this was a upgrade from a surfboard modem thus works perfect in an apartment I have wireless router and I have absolutely no problems like before perfect ands highly recommended.

Got this modem to replace the one my cable company was charging me for. This has much better specs and after using for about 2 months have had no problems. The cost, even if I hadn't got it on sale, will pay for itself in a few months.

Our previous modem was no longer working and this modem is cost efficient and easy to set up.

I bought this modem after a Netgear modem I had bought crashed after only 10 days. This modem is by far the better choice. I should have bought this modem first! Super fast speeds with no down time.

This product works great, it was a breeze to setup and has very fast download speed (although you need a good router to achieve this) but that's nothing really. Overall I'm very happy with this product!!

Great product to use with my internet connection! A lot of brands out there but always go with Motorola when it comes to modems. Price was reasonable. Check out was fast and warranty is always good!

It works fast and does all I expected it to. It's even on the appoved Time Warner list.

This modem is providing me with super fast internet speeds. Linked to my Asus router it is doing a fine job as a base for my home network. Setup was very simple. I was online in minutes.

I am a gadget guy and always buy the best I can afford. I wanted a modem that was fast, reliable and consistent the Motorola Surfboard was just that.

Purchased the Motorola cable modem to eliminate Time Warner equipment charges and to guarantee having new equipment,rather than paying fees for most probably a refurbished outdated cable modem from cable company. A Linksys smart WIFI router was added to the Motorola modem and performance is very good. These units were matched up on the advice of a Geek Squad representative. I am happy with the combination and the results. After one month, there has not been even one problem.

Though I don't have much experience with cable modems, I am satisfied with my purchase. The item was recommended to me by a friend. It was very easy to set up and I haven't had any problems with it.
