Great router. Installation was easy and performance is excellent. Cable repair guy working on unrelated issue saw my new Arris router and commented that it was one of the best.

It's faster than the lower priced Motorola. It seems to be faster than the $69 models.

Bought this so I could stop paying for comcast's modem rental fee. I also had a sneaking suspicion that their issued equipment might be to blame for the terrible service. Setting the modem up was easy, the process was very intuitive. Unfortunately it seems that comcast just has terrible service, and, while my new modem may be shiny and totally functional, you can only do so much with such a terrible ISP.

Very good device and a good price. Setup was easy. Performance has been great. Took Cox to turn on the connection, but after that, everything was smooth.

I upgraded from DOCSIS 2.0 and it has really sped thinks up. It was very easy to set up, but did have a little trouble with my cable company finding it online when I called to activate.

changing to a streaming device for TV viewing, this unit covers what i need very well.

This little guy is hands down one of the most powerful routers I have purchased. I have used all the brands out there at one point in time, and with out a doubt this one is great. My entire apartment is covered with 5 bars of coverage, and wifi extends down past the renters office. Powerful and long range.

Comcast ups the technology; modem gives no signal ... whatever the reason, this modem is great, Comcast compatible and economical. Sure beats paying to rent the Comcast modem.

It was extremely easy to set up. After calling the cable company to register it, we were good to go. So far no issues, and internet speed as been great.

My son set up the modem to replace an older model. It seems to be working properly.

This is a great improvement over the unit currently in place for many years as supplied by cable company. This unit is up,to,date. Works well with ASUS gaming modem.

I gave this modem 5 stars..why? It had a quick setup, basic easy connections, connected with my Asus router easily..no problem...and it's a good value for what you're getting.

Modem is fast, works better than the other modem we had rented. Does require some set up but well worth it after you get it activated through Comcast.

One of the best modems out there. The speeds are great and build quality is 2nd to none. Setup was super easy. The store associate was also very helpful with explaining the features.

I bought this as a replacement for an old cable modem due to Comcast upgrading their service. The initial installation was fairly straightforward because I connected it to my laptop to setup it up per Comcast tech support's instructions. The problem came when I connected the modem to my router. It turns out either the modem or Comcast caches the Mac address of the device that successfully sends/receives data when they provision it, so I had to clone my laptop's mac address on my router to get my wireless network working again. I wasn't able to just release and renew to get a new IP like I was used to doing. It's been fine since, but it was frustrating spending 2 hours on something I knew should have only taken about 30 min.

Gets the job done quite well. Have this combined with a gigabit router. Very fast.

I purchased at the store. At home I have a 12/2 connection and didn't want to pay Xfinity anymore to rent their modem. It took overnight to communicate with Comcast after they updated my MAC settings. Unknown if the length of time was a Comcast or modem issue. It has worked smoothly after that.
