Believe it to be as professionally reviewed elsewhere, but until my ISP pushes the limits stated in its specs I can't in good conscience give it 5 stars. Certainly worth 4 stars just because it will pay for itself in 1 year and I won't be renting someone else's lesser spec'd equipment forever.

This cable modem is very easy to setup and get going, just a phone call to give Comcast the MAC and you are up and running. Was able to tell difference immediately in speed.

Upgraded modem in less than ten minutes. Speed seams good, no issues.

I needed a new modem when the one from my ISP failed. This one is sleek, fast, easy to set up (or program yourself for optimum use). Super price as well !!

Really easy to set up. Took it out of the package, plugged it in, registered the product.... Easy as pie. Works great as well.

I had a previous Motorola modem that was hit by lightening. When it came to buying and selecting another replacement modem, I stayed with the Motorola product. This time I bought the extended warranty to cover my purchase for two years in case lightening strikes twice.

Definitely better than renting a modem. So far it is working great!

The modem is highly recommended by others so I took a chance when it was on sale, and I need to replace my rented one from cox, so far it works fine, setup was easy, and speed seems to be on par with the current one I have.

I've been thinking about getting a cable modem like this ever since Time Warner started charging $5.99 per month for their outdated version. This Motorola is the upgraded version of the one I was leasing, and it will pay for itself in a year. I hooked it in to my cable line, called time warner to give them the serial number on the new modem, and in less than 15 minutes the internet was fully functional on all my devices through my separate existing wireless router. I couldn't be more pleased.

This modem works well with the linksys router for xfinity service

We bought this modem because Comcast was telling us our old one was out of date. They indicated we weren't getting the most from our internet speed. We ventured out to purchase a new one thinking our internet would be improved, but we have not noticed a difference since we hooked this new modem up. I am not sure if it's solely dependent on the modem or not.

I purchased this modem to stop paying rent to the cable company. It installed easily and works well. I chose it on recommendation of the Best Buy associate.
