This modem works well with the linksys router for xfinity service

I've been thinking about getting a cable modem like this ever since Time Warner started charging $5.99 per month for their outdated version. This Motorola is the upgraded version of the one I was leasing, and it will pay for itself in a year. I hooked it in to my cable line, called time warner to give them the serial number on the new modem, and in less than 15 minutes the internet was fully functional on all my devices through my separate existing wireless router. I couldn't be more pleased.

It is good modem and worth it. I would recommend this to a friend.

We bought this modem because Comcast was telling us our old one was out of date. They indicated we weren't getting the most from our internet speed. We ventured out to purchase a new one thinking our internet would be improved, but we have not noticed a difference since we hooked this new modem up. I am not sure if it's solely dependent on the modem or not.

We needed to get a stronger modem to work with the new internet service provider we have. This one has been fantastic! Super fast speed and easy to use.

Now the only slowdown is based upon the speed of my isp and not the bottleneck at the modem. Had a motorola surfboard modem before and with 10 devices, ipod,ipad, imac, macbook pro, roku, appletv, iphone, tivo, and kindle fire, the surfboard was the weak link. Now with the multiple downstreams that this provides things are much smoother. One 5 minute call with Cox Communications to register it in their system was all it took.

It is great if you already have a high speed router. If not they offer a combo with is very good. The price for this product is very good. High quality for reasonable price.

We replaced our old router. It was perfect for our needs and it was quick and easy to install. It ended our delays our old router was giving us with our smart tv connection.

If you have a basic lower-tier cable internet connection, this is a good, basic modem. Easy to set up, fast enough for most uses. Good quality modem.

Setup was easy. worked fine with my Linksys router/ switch. Not bad.

Seems to do a good job, I only have 25mbps service with Comcast and we regularly see over 30mbps. Our old Motorola DOCSIS 2.0 modem was pretty good but this modem performs better probably do to more send and receive channels.

Easy install and good brand name. Green lights need to be brighter.

Bought this modem a month ago and haven't had any problems yet. We have multiple gamers in our household and our modem would frequently get overloaded interrupting internet service for the entire household making us reset both the modem and the router. Since installing the new modem, we have yet to have any issues with our internet heavy family. I highly recommend.

After much research, picked this modem for my 150M Cox Cable internet. Easy to set up and it works excellently. No complaints at all. Highly recommended!

Quit paying your ISP's for a monthly rental fee. Take that $5-$10/mo and do yourself a favor and buy your modem! No sense in paying in on something that you won't be able to take with you. This is perfect for those that have an ISP that will allow you to bring your own modem. Not to mention this works with multiple ISPs and is not ISP specific. Moving and switching ISPs? No big deal. Just bring this along with you. This modem is super simple to set up. Plug and play. Highly recommended and worth the money you save vs paying your ISP.

This modem has worked fine with no problems on comcast service.

I am not a computer guru! Set up was easy! No outages experienced. Handles TV, 3 computers, iPad, 2 cell phones with no issues!
