Reliable and efficient modem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you have a good router to go with this modem you should not need an Ethernet cord to get a strong signal. I use cox service and they said if you're far from the modem and router to use the 2.4 and if you're close to use the 5.0 signal.

Perfect for upgrading to higher speed Internet

Excellent Modem for the Price

It is also much more compact. The only trouble I had with the modem was setting it up. I had to call Comcast and after unplugging our router and modem simultaneously and re-plugging them back into the outlet, they began to recognize each other. Overall, I would strongly recommend this product if you already have a great router!
