Really good modem really hard to reach it limits. Great product great price

I was looking for a replacement to the cable modem supplied by Xfinity. This one seemed to be a good fit. I've been using it now for about 2 months and have had no issues. Cable TV and internet work just as well if not better than before with the cable modem supplied by Xfinity.

The ARRIS/Motorola Surfboard S865141 was easy to install. Simply connect a few cables. It works as advertised. As other reviewers have commented, the continual flashing of the indicator light is annoying and distracting, but you get use to it.

Was easy to install and get set up. Size let's you put it in a small area.

I bought this to upgrade from another brand and I gotta say this is the best cable modem you can buy for the money. It never drops the connection and always gets the max speed.

I needed to upgrade and out dated modem to keep Comcast from harassing me every week. I saw this as the most recommended modem out currently. BestBuy had a good price. Its white and has very bright lights that you can not dim. Thats really the only knocks I have for this product.

Had to get my own to save on the TWC monthly lease modem charge. All of the internet providers are moving to DOCSIS3.0 and high speed delivery...so having this now, even though I have lower speed plan, gives me flexibility to get the max whenever I want to upgrade my services. Ahead of the game! :)

The price was right and it's saving me money by not having to pay a monthly fee for the modem through the cable company. It's easy to set up and works great. Definitely worth the money.

At the speeds avaialble in my area this modem fit my needs perfectly. It's not 3.1 but future proofed enough that I won't have to worry about upgrading for a long time. If you're paying your cable company to rent a modem, save yourself some money and buy this one to replace it!

not bad, hooked this one up, called my internet provider to register it in there system and returned the $10 a month rental fee modem to them. My download speed is about 2mb better now with this one than my old rental.

I bought this to replace my older sb5100. This modem is fast and works well.

Set-up was simple. Not much more to add other than it works well with my Linksys router. Speeds are adequate, if not mind-numbing. No problem recommending this modem.

Does everything perfectly and very easily. I had some issues with getting it to connect but simply turned all my stuff off and rebooted it and bobs your uncle it all worked. Simple truth of electronic issues.....turn it off and restart after 30 seconds. Will solve 50% of all problems!

Bought this along with a seperate router (per my work IT Guy's instruction) to replace the 2-in-1 Comcast provided me that never gave me the speed I paid for. This paired with the router are a dream. I pay for up to 75 megs and get over 80 now. This was worth the investment.

If you need a modem that doesn't have WiFi included this is a great option. The dual link mode actually increased my internet speeds even though I am nowhere near the theoretical max of my old Docsis 3.0 modem. Have had it connected for a few weeks and haven't had any issues.

I did my research and purchased this item to save money on my monthly cable bill. Installation was easy, and after calling Time Warner to have them configure it to their specifications, I was up and running in no time! Still have to keep the Time Warner modem for my landline, but now there is no charge. This product will pay for itself before the end of the year! I did some speed tests after setting it up and I'm getting good speeds (I have TimeWarner Turbo internet service). Hope this review helps others make a decision.

Modem hookup is an absolute breeze. I called the cable company with the serial number to get it up and running. I'm seeing 95mbs+ on download speeds consistently. It's actually much faster than the cable providers modem. Great purchase and avoid paying a leasing fee on your cable bill!

I have done my homework, and the SB6141 is THE modem to get at the current moment. It has plenty of downlink channels to guaranteed a stable internet speed at nights and weekend, and can boost your maximum theoretical speed to a limit of 343.1, which is more than needed.

Had great reviews online. Easy setup and I have had no issues or problems. Got for a great price and definitely purchase again.
