I had this exact modem before in my other home and it worked great. So I bought another one for my second home. I hated paying time warner cable for a modem every month so I bought a second one to save money like before and it is worth every penny to get excellent internet.

I always buy my own modem instead of renting from cable company. Purchase this if you have sub 150mb speeds. It says up to 343mb but reality is that is never fully realized. Arris has other products for faster speeds. Get this, it will pay for itself with no rental fees

I purchased this modem to avoid having to rent a modem from Time Warner Cable for Internet access. This modem meets their requirements and allows me to achieve the full promised download speed. I bought this in store and was able to get a price match for a better price I found online.

Easy to setup. Use it with a compatible router and it works like a charm. No drops, no bandwidth fluctuation. Just plugin the coaxial cable and you are good to go with activation. Using it with my comcast internet and speed is always better than what i am subscribed for.

I hooked up my laptop to the modem opened google.com and the page redirected to Comcast logon. I logged in with my Comcast.com account/password. I remember a button to click to activate the new modem. Modem rebooted after 5 minutes. Had to open webpage again and logon. somehow 5 minutes later again the system was back up and I could surf at 28Mbps for the Professional speed package. I am happy with it. I logged on my Comcast page and it showed the new modem and MAC address in my account! No need to call Comcast! It has been over a month and it is working well! No need to reboot it or anything and all devices are working including WIFI!

Well got tired of renting modem for Comcast. Looked at reviews, more research and purchased this one. Was a breeze to hook up and get turned on with Comcast. But like Comcast. Two moths later they still want to charge we for rental. Looks like a another phone call to Comcast.

I brought this when I want to upgrade my internet and found out that my cable internet bill includes a $7/month modem fee. The modem that was lend to me before was a DOCSIS2 modem which does not support higher internet speed. For example, with Time Warner Cable, you will need a DOCSIS3 modem such as this SURFboard for any service that are 30Mbps down or higher. This modem does what it suppose to do, is easy to set up, and I also like the white color which goes well with the Apple Airport Express. I recommend this for anyone who are renting the modem from their internet provider every month. You should break even in a year or less!

I don't even think my current cable company can MAX out this modem but for now it is the fastest and pulling down higher than the previous DOCSIS 3.0 I had. Not a reboot needed since I installed it. Works great.

I owned my last modem and it died. Comcast sent me theirs and it was horrible so I bought this and it works flawlessly. Have not had one issue since I bought and just bought another for my brother so he can dump his comcast modem because it's messing up his network as well.

The Motorola SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 High-Speed Cable Modem - White is exactly what I needed. I now own 2 SURFboard modems, and they both exceeded my expectations. It was easy to set up. I didn't have any problems. My other SURFboard is still holding up without any troubles.

I have been using this modem for about a month now with great results. The set up was a breeze just plug and play! I live In a 3 story townhouse the modem and router are on the first floor and my comp is located on the third. Was looking for a modem to be able to return the Comcast modem I was renting, and this certainly fit the bill. Easy to set-up and was back on-line quickly and able to return the cable company's modem the next day.

I was ready to buy my own modem after recent lease rate hikes from my provider. Plug in and go with my current setup. The longest part was calling customer service to register the device. Great product no issues.

This was purchased for my son, who is using this for internet games. His service provider is Times-Warner. He, so far has had no problem with the speed he needs for games. He is an adult gamer and has had no problem using his own modem. Even better, we got this on sale.

Didn't know what I needed for TWC internet and the sales person said that this one would work just fine and that this is the one he has. Now I don't have to give TWC a monthly rental fee and it works great. Thanks Best Buy I should have done this a few years ago.

Comcast basically forced me into buying a new modem (deactivated my old one and when I called, they tried to lease me a new one). I'm glad I did. I also bought a new Nighthawk router, and with these two new components, I immediately say a speed and bandwidth increase.
