This is by far the best modem that want to buy on the market to be able to stream multiple devices in 4k well over 20 plus devices are on at the same time but you must have the best routers and internet access to be able to accomplish this feat

I use Comcast and chose this modem over the Comcast brand modem. It will pay for itself within 12 months considering you pay comcast ~$7 a month to lease their modem. Do the math. For me i leased $7 a month for comcast modem (12x7=84) the cost of this thing is like $90 i think. Anyway, Great speeds i use comcast performance and run 30-45 Mbs, my bro has same modem with comcast blast and gets insane speed ~100 Mbs. Lesson to be learned= Don't pay $7 a month to lease a modem, you are losing a lot of $$.

Bought to replace modem fried by lightening. Got same model as it continues to get great reviews and is now $20 less than when I bought it a year ago! Back then it tested significantly faster than the "gateway" modem Comcast charges about $120/yr to rent. I don't blame it for getting fried by the lightening---struck practically on top of us. Modem was plugged into surgepro along with a router and roku, but only the modem got fried. Learned that surge can come in via cable, so only detaching the coax would have saved it---unusual for this to happen, but still something to know. When I called Comcast, they tried to tell me this modem is "legacy" "end-of-life", blah, blah, blah---total BS! Works great. Oh, and while square trade sent me a check to cover the replacement, dealing with them via phone was a BIG pain---new modem has Best Buy extended warranty so if there's a problem I can go back to the store and get a replacement right away. No international phone calls needed----worth the extra dollar!

Needed to upgrade to a new modem to support a new data cable line. Our last modem was a few years old and we could only watch streaming movies on one TV at a time or there would be glitches and interruptions due to download lag. This modem allows us to watch on 3 TVs with no lag.

Bought this to replace my modem provided by Comcast. Worked great!! Direct ethernet connection provided a speedtest at over 100 Mbps on a much lower plan! Super fast and stable, unlike the provider themselves. Would highly recommend for use over the $7/month rental.

This Arris modem will give you great upload and download speeds from your cable provider (in my case about 75% better throughput). Much better option than leasing a low-grade modem from TWC or Comcast and you will save $6-$9 per month on lease fees. Very satisfied.

My Internet was running slowly. Sometimes as many as 8 devices on line at once. This router raised my Internet speed to 4 times faster download speed. Went from 12Mbs to 48 Mbs download speed, although my cable company switch sometimes slows me down to 39Mbs.

It is pretty much the perfect product for anyone looking to replace their modem provided by cable company or replace a old one. Works perfect for me combined with my Apple Time Capsule! No regrets here!

This modem was very easy to setup and use. The design is clean and functional. The display is easy to read and provides most, if not all, of the necessary information needed of a modem. Its function is efficient. My upload and download speeds are noticeably faster. Without reservation, I would recommend the Motorola - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 High-Speed Cable Modem

This is a great modem. It connected and got me online with TWC with no issues whatsoever. I already had a router so I didn't need the fancier version that included routing functionality. It was easy to install and get online with TWC customer support and it's been rock-solid. I get my full bandwidth without any limitations on the TWC network.

No bells or whistles for this modem. IPV6 compatibility if it's available to you. My only gripe is that the blue lights on this are really blazingly bright. Obviously doesn't affect performance though. It will definitely light up a room in bright blue at night.

Plug and play set up. I called Cox and registered the modem, then plugged it in. Connected in about 5 minutes with absolutely no effort on my part. I've got it in line with a Netgear router and a couple of hard-wired switches and it's performed flawlessly.

Comcast in my area wants to have you rent one for 15 dollars a month and it's normally old and used and if you're lucky it will actually function. I have owned a few of the Motorola modems over the years and I have never had a problem with the ones I have purchased for myself.

TimeWarner decides to start charging usage fees on modems when they have never charged in almost 20 years of service. They actually did me a favor. I returned TW's equipment and bought this one. This will pay for itself in TW fees saved and works so much better.
