I finally got tired of paying Time Warner for their cable modem and picked this one up. Works well out of the box. One minor problem - the Bs and 8s look very similar on the MAC address and caused a small delay in getting it registered with TWC.

I finally turned in my rented modem to Comcast, best thing I ever did. I have 100mbs and I am getting 125mbs on a regular basis with this modem. The lights are a little bright, but it's cool, it looks like there is a spaceship under my dresser.

If you wanting this modem with service from Comcast, look at maybe the SB6121...Speeds overall are much higher for that modem vs the 4121 due to the extensive testing of 3 stars that can be found on the Comcast Compatability modem list. My 6141 would fail to install the SW config file for the modem so it would run very flaky and inconsistent with speed. Upload went from 10-12 on the Blast package to 7-8mb... which is a major difference when your running a media server trying push 1080 video through something like Plex. 6121 speeds : 75-85mb down / 10-12up 6141 speeds: 49-65 down/ 6-8up Sooo judging from the extensive testing i'v done with this thing and the time spent with Comcast tech support, save yourself the trouble and get the 6121... Its actually a year older than the 6141 so why does Comcast say the 6141 is EOL and the 6121 isn't... THEY COULD NOT EVEN TELL ME! lol hope this helps someone

It was easy to set up. Just had to call comcast to recognize the router. Works at better speed than old modem

Purchased this Cable Modem to replace my Time Warner leased modem. Setup was easy. Simple call to TW with my model # and Serial # and I was up and ready to surf in about 5 min. They communicated with the modem, sent a reset signal to it and I was ready to use the device. Couldn't have been much easier. Decent performance as I stream video on multiple devices along with surf the web and download content on over 10 devices in my household. A solid performer.

Purchased this modem to replace the Time Warner Cable modem that required a monthly lease fee. This product has worked perfectly. The LED's on the front a bit bright but other than that I've got no complaints about this modem. If you're going to have TWC broadband service more than 1 year and 4 months then you should definitely purchase a modem to avoid the unnecessary lease fee's. I would recommend this modem to anyone who is currently using Time Warner as their ISP.

Added this when Comcast switched their standards. I read a number of reviews and this style seemed the best. It did not disappoint. Easy to install and much better performance. Though it is probably more than I need, I was planning for the future.

Recommend this modem due to the price and reliability. It's able to handle a 100 mbps internet plan and I rarely need to reset it.

this is way better than the modem/router you rent from your cable company. invest in this modem and get your self a great wireless router. rec. the netgear nighthawk. it wont disappoint.

This item works great. I had no installation issues including contacting my ISP to initialize the unit. Added bonus = saving neary $10/month on my cable bill. No brainer~don't give the provider the privilege of taking your hard earned money.

I purchased this modem to replace the cable company's rental. It was very easy to install. And it's much faster than the old modem I was renting. I do not play video games, but video streaming is great as well as just regular email and surfing.

This modem is saving me $10/month rental fee from the cable company. It's a great modem that I know is new, not someone else's recycled rental.

I needed a new modem to get the faster speed from cox. Easy to set up. Just call cox with the box handy and read off the MAC address to the tech and you will be up and running in little time. I am now getting over 150mbps download speeds.

TWC informed me recently that I either needed to begin to pay to lease the modem they had provided for me 3 years ago or buy my own. Using their web site, they recommended a few modems (all available from Best Buy) and I chose this one because I trusted the brand. Unfortunately, it did not have a port for my land line and my set up with TWC required that my modem have such a port, so I returned it. I took it into the nearest Best Buy store and received a full refund with no problems whatsoever. Other than that, I'm sure this Arris product would have be wonderful, as usual. A happy ending to the story is that when I called TWC to ask for more time to get my modem, they told me that I could keep the one they had provided for me free of charge (no lease). It is an Arris brand too, and has performed wonderfully.

Replaced modem and router and now I am able to get the fastest speed for cable internet. Stop renting your modem!!

Very sleek, sturdy design with vents on the sides and top. I only wish it had an off/standby button like my old Motorola modem since I don't need it active with the lights flashing at all times. Not sure how much I'm benefitting from the 8X faster speed with my current connection, but it works just as well as my old modem.
