So far so good, Comcast installation person came in and installed this a month ago and it has worked flawlessly since. I was told it was the best product for Comcast internet out there.

This modem is really solid. It works well with Comcast and I haven't had to pay any rental fees since I purchased it. It will pay for itself quickly. That being said I knocked a star off because the lights are crazy bright and if you have it in a bedroom it can keep the occupant awake. A little electrical tape goes a long way.

Performed well - reliable - was recommended by our internet provider - up to the task - however, when we changed internet providers, they brought in their own modem and our speeds went up quite a bit - download and upload - not a fault of the Arris modem, just a more expensive modem from the provider - I'm sure Arris makes a modem at the same price point as this new one to equal the output - this modem performed well for the time we had it and we didn't have to worry about renting or purchasing ISP gear - however, if you are going to purchase instead of use an ISP modem, consider spending a little more for performance upgrade - I was surprised at the difference - still, was a good modem.

I purchased this modem to replace the modem supplied by Optimum, which was supposed to be free, but Optimum started to charge $10 a monthfor their modem. This modem wil be payed for in 5 months and reduced my monthly bill from Optimum by the $10. The modem works well with my computor and printer.

this was very easy to set up and takes up very little space. It is compatible with xfinity internet and my Apple router.

There were several choices that would work with TWC cable install, and this one had the best reviews. They were well deserved. It installed in a blink and works without a hitch.

Easy to set up, it took about 25 minutes and 1 phone call to my internet provider. Speed tests showed a 6mb increase. Most reviews had a complaint about the bright indicator light but I found them no worse then my router or old modem.

Easy setup, hooked it up, called comcast online in a total of 15 minutes. Getting super fast download speeds almost 100 Mbps, big thumbs up..

Moved into a new apartment where i had access to speed of 50+ mbps. I did not have a DOCSIS 3.0, It was a the perfect time to upgrade. Setup was a breeze with only needing a call to my ISP. Paying for 50 mbps and getting 52 according to speedtest

I have used this modem about one month. So far so good except two reset. I am not sure if the resets were due to the modem or my router. But I am satisfied with this product because it is much better than the other modem I had before.

This modem is great! I finally decided to upgrade my internet speed from DSL and went with Comcast. They charge a fee every month to rent a modem. This will pay for itself in no time. Comcast will not service the modem, but if it lasts anywhere near as long as my last modem which has been working for 14 years, I will be in good shape! Anyway, it was basically a synch for the Comcast techs that installed my internet. They called in the router #, plugged it in and turned it on - WALLA! Both techs said it was a really good modem. I bought this model since it was the newest and should keep up with technology changes the best. I am happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it! I am getting very good speeds - up and down as well as through my wireless router that is plugged into my Ooma which is plugged into the modem.

This is a great internet modem. I wish that I would have purchased one sooner since Time Warner Cable charges me $5 a month to rent one of their products. The installation was fast and simple and I have not had to manually reset the modem at all. The modem is fast and everything that I need for personal use inside of my apartment. The only problem that I have experienced thus far is that the modem will lose connection every once in a while and automatically reset. I am not sure if this is the fault of the modem or my internet provider (Time Warner Cable).

I bought this for my girlfriend so she wouldn't have to keep paying the Comcast modem rental fee. It has been great so far and has only had to be reset once since getting it completely set up on Comcast's system. Great cable modem!

During a recent move I upgraded from a standard Time Warner Cable WI-FI router modem to this Motorola SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Modem and a Linksys 802.11ac Gigabit Router. No technical issues with set up and has preformed to my expectations.

If you are looking to save a rental fee from Comcast, and don't use Comcast phone (or wouldn't mind switching to vonage) These modems are very reliable, and small. Have had mine, SB6121 (earlier model) nearly two years, no issues.

The router has worked great for me. I live in an apartment building and get great wireless coverage all the way out to the street. The download speeds are as good as my provider gets and I have had no issues with the router crashing.

I am by no means into tech. But when I was paying for high speed cable and getting dial up speeds I knew something was wrong. Cable company declared it was my modem but I dislike that company monopoly more than words can say and refuse to buy anything I don't have to from them. So did the homework and was actually prepared to buy the more expensive version until the salesperson explained the lower priced modem was really all I needed. Love honesty! Works great, have my speed back and it was SO easy to install.

I have been VERY impressed with this thing - motorola makes some great cable modems. I haven't had one bit of trouble with it - it's survived power surges and never quits. Plus saves me from having to "rent" on from the cable company!

bought in Aug 2016, installed next day: easy instructions to connect, called rcn to send their signal to initiate connection. Flawless performance. This modem has blue and yellow signal lights. Did not think of it at time of purchase, but have a personal preference for red lights as the blue/yellow lights are bright at night and noticeable when you walk into the room at night. I put the modem behind the desk so I do not see the lights at night. Otherwise, very pleased with this modems ease to install and operation

I bought this so I wouldn't have to pay Twc lease fees for their modem. Buy this and lower your cable bill. They charge you a never ending monthly lease fee when you can buy this and never pay it again. Works great! Easy set up.
