I've bought a number of cable modems, both for installs and personal use, and have always had good results from Motorola. I'll use what ever the customer asks for but use these for myself. Reliable.

This DOS 3.0 modem tripled my internet connection speed. Required phone calls to internet supplier for connectivity and Arris to get it operating properly.

I got this modem so I wouldn't have to pay Time Warner their monthly "rental" fee. Though the Time Warner rep said I may have problems with a non-rental modem, I have had zero issues with speed or reliability.

I took followed the recommendation of the Best Buy sales person from a list of modems which were compatible with Time Warner's system. Unit was easy to connect and set up. Has worked with out any issues.

THIS IS MY SECOND MOTOROLA SURFBOARD I UP GRADED TO THE NEWER AND FASTER ONE AND COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE WAY THIS UNIT PERFORMS. I PREFER TO HAVE MODEM AND WIRELESS ROUTER SEPERATE AND IT WORKS AWESOME

Great modem so far. Is as fast or faster than the modem I was leasing from my internet service provider and it will pay for itself since I no longer have the additional modem leasing fee from my ISP.

I purchased this modem to replace the one I was renting from Comcast. The Sales associate recommended it and it has worked perfectly. It will pay for itself in 10 months based on the Comcast rental fee.

I was having problems with my TWC modem, was not getting the speed I was paying for. I purchased this one and my internet speeds are where they should be. Actually I pay for 30mbps I average 36mbps.

This is a great high speed modem. Easy to set up and easy to use, and there hasn't been any lag what so ever.

Our computer would not work and we were told by Comcast that we needed a new modem. We researched on line to see what would be the best one for us and decide on this one. We hooked it up, contacted Comcast to have them activate the new modem and we were up and running again!

As always the people at the Chesterfield store are so helpful. Are cable co. Said we had to change modems, the young man in that department new exactly what I needed & it happen to be on sale. Works great!

The installation of this modem was very fast and easy. Once installed I connected my Router and it was off and running with no fuss. No more waiting.

This modem work as it should; however, if you have Comcast service. Make sure you connect your router to the modem, not the computer because will keep the first MAC address that came through the modem.

I have used this modem for the past 4 years. Absolutely no issues. I have moved also several times and take this thing with me everywhere I go. Easy to install and when the power goes out, it gets up running quickly when it gets turned back on. Highly recommend! I recently had to update mine to a 3.1 since I was upgrading to the Gigablast with Cox. I went with Arris just because of how happy I was with this model.

Modem got nuked in a lightning storm. I had to go out with 20 minutes before the store closed. Associate was very helpful in making sure I got the correct replacement. It works like a dream. Thank you!

This model works for 99% of the speeds most companies offer now. I bought it to replace my last one & realized I already had this one! So returned it. I already had the same exact model! Still working!

Just glad to have my own modem so this way I’m not throwing out an extra $10 toward the cable company. Working just fine and haven’t have any problems with my internet from Optimum.

Super easy to setup on Comcast, and performance over the arris is amazing. Some dropped connections still can't determine if its Comcast or the modem. Router is a netgear ac, and its rock solid, LAN never drops, just the wan

Do yourself a favor and buy your own modem. This one is much better than your ISP provided modem. Haven't had to restart modem since i've purchased this.

I bought this so my brother didn't have to pay $8 / month rent from my cable provider. I've had mine for over a year so I've already payed it off so save yourself some money and buy instead of renting
