The unit was easy to set up. So far it works as described. The price is also very reasonable.

First unit failed within a week. The hassle free replacement is still working great. LED brightlness is a bit over the top. Overall it's a good buy for the buck and should pay for itself within a year.

My old docsis modem was 8 years old. I see a huge jump in my streaming speeds with the same Internet connections. Even the rep at comcast was surprised.

Picked This modem up so that I didn't have to "rent" one from the cable TV overlords. As I don't use any bundle packages (internet only) and so don't have need for phone/TV pass through, this runs my internet signal just fine and pays for itself within a year. No issues with it at all and it meets/exceeds my speed requirements.

This is a great modem for using it for TCP/IP an voic over IP. It was not that expensive an works just Great. You cannot go wrong with it.

I've been using it for the past month and so far it's been working as well as it should be (I don't really know how to compare modems).

Lots of research and this one just kept coming up on top for me; reliable manufacturer, good reviews by others, ease of setup, built for the future with 8-up 4-down bonding. Works just like promised with never a hitch. My only complaint is, as others have mentioned, the lights are irritatingly bright; this I solved by mounting under my desk where it is out of sight.

After reading the other reviews before I purchased the item I am very pleased at how accurate they were. This product was very easy to set up and I was able to begin using it within 10 min of setup.

I purchased this by mistake, I wanted a Modem/Router in one unit, so I returned this. However set up and connection were easy and fast.

I was using the basic cable modem provided by Comcast. However a lightning storm took it out, and Comcast only carries the combination modem and routers. I already had a working router, and I didn't want one of their routers that I wouldn't have ultimate control over.

My internet speeds are fantastic. Both the Upload and Download speeds are great. Hindsight being 20/20 I would have bought a unit with more ethernet jacks in the back. This unit only has 1 out.
