Performed as promised and was effortless to install, I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to get away from cable company rental rates.

I bought this modem on the advise of the sales representative and haven't been sorry. It has performed great and has been very fast.

I am not qualified to give a technical report. The only thing that matters to me about this product is that it work well. Since the product does what it supposed to do, I am satisfied with it.

Good modem. works well. But silver color model is really white. Thought they sent us the wrong color at first. But it seems all silver ones are white!

It has opened up the World Wide Web with amazing speed which has allowed me to be bombarded with countless cat memes and fail videos

This was easy to hook up and doesn't take up much room.

I have all Apple Products and this modem works great with my electronics. Since I have purchased it all of the resetting related to my old modem have vanished. I like the clean white appearance too. My internet's never been so reliable or fast! Can't recommend enough.

There's really not a lot to say about this modem itself, and that's a good thing. Something like a cable modem should, as long as it works with your ISP, be completely transparent to the end user. Other than the initial setup in which you may need to verify status indicators, this product (and every other SurfBoard modem I've ever used) meets that standard. That said, if your setup does not go well or easy you may either have to know how your home cabling is configured and/or get help from your ISP to get things working. Any number of things can affect whether any modem will work, including bad cabling, signals that are too low (or too high), electrical interference and noise, and most of those problems can be anywhere from your neighborhood node all the way down to the connector hooked up to the modem. I had some of these problems but knew enough to work around them and that they weren't the modem's fault. Once set up properly, when Time Warner's end of things is working well I can easily get the 300Mbps+ up and 20Mbps+ that I'm paying for. That's all I need this modem to do and it does it well. Highly recommended for anyone who uses their own router and access points.

Works with xfinity. Fast modem and keeps you from giving that money to the cable company. Pays for itself within the first year :)

Our previous cable modem went out about 3months ago. We bought this modem and our data speeds have increased and we have had no issues.

Best bang for the buck out there for a cable modem. Always been a fan of Motorola routers for their quality/reliability and easy setup.

Easy to set up and super fast. Love it and have had no issues at all with disconnects or slow access in the month I've been using it.

I used same model 6141 rented from Time warner. I was paying so much rent to them from last 5 years. Glad I realized at least now.

Great product, called comcast and activation didn't take longer than 5min. I have service for more than 1 month without any problems.

This modem works great with my cable service. I return the one I was renting from the cable co. I'm also saving some money every month.

Purchased this to replace my cable providers leased modem and could not be more satisfied. Easy set up and no complaints as of yet.

The device came out of the box and installed within 15 minutes. I did have to call Comcast for them to reset so that it would talk both ways. My speed is great and it works wonders. People have complained about the bright blue lights....We just put translucent tape over them......
