The directions were very simple. The modem signal is just as fast as the cable company's signal. This is a great modem for first timers.

It's a mid-range modem compatible with comcast Exfinity, and it was on sale. Had to phone Comcast in order to get it working but was easy to install and worked shortly after activation. No problems since.

Great Cable Modem for the money.

works great with Xfinity

It works perfectly with the setup and streams lightning fast. I have been using it for 3 months, and have had to reset it twice (which I find normal if not really good for an electronic that runs 24/7). I chose Arris because Comcast/Xfinity use this brand as well, so I assumed it would work, glad it did. I'll be saving money and the modem should keep up with current technology for a few years.
