Easy to set up and get going, can't really tell if it is much faster than my old modem from Comcast.

It wasn't my first choice, but it was the only one that works with my internet provider. This product works very well for what it does.

This is a simple plug&play replacement for the similar Motorola model issued by Time Warner Cable. A while back they started charging $10/month to rent a modem....this was $70 to purchase and use for years without rental fees, and looks very similar and works the same. Works just as well. Doesn't have the multiple Ethernet jacks on the back, but, these days, you really only need one for your wireless router. The body is glaring hospital white, and, speaking pf glare, the operating blinking lights are very bright and distracting in a dark room. If you are with Time Warner Cable, you will need to make a free call to them to authorize this new modem, mine took about 20 minutes. As part of that set-up, you will need to make a WIRED connection to this modem from your computer, NOT using the wireless router in your house. Once the computer, modem, and the person on the phone are all connected, you can then hang-up and reconnect your wireless router to this new modem. It may take an hour or two for your wireless router to "learn" the language of this new modem but they will eventually "get along" just fine.

I saw one of my friends used this cable very well. So I decided to by it at my home. It works very well and I don't have any problems with it till now.

I bought this to replace an older model Arris modem. Works great and gives me speeds at the top of my bandwidth agreement consistently.

Lets face it, almost anything beats the box provided by the cable co. This is a great box, and FAST!

Set up 2 or 3 minutes good power no problems, extremely easy to use, you will forget it is there.

Did research and for the price it was either the NEtgear model or this one. Motorola has made exceptional cable modems and this one is good on performance and capability. If one is looking for a modem and do not want to pay the fees of cable provider, this modem is the way to go. Sometimes it do time out, but I do not know if it is the provider or bottle neck on my network. Modem is worth buying

It is compatible with various internet providers. Very easy to install. Pleased with the speed!

I went from a docsis 2.0 to 3.0. This modem is really fast!

Great internet speed, works well with my Linksys router. Had to call cable company to activate.

Way better up load and download speeds then my old router. No problems with installation or since.

When Cox increased my download speed, I was in need of a new modem. The rep at Best Buy recommended this one and it was a good buy. So far it delivers.

Replaced a rental with this modem. It has already paid for itself. The setup was easy. I have had no problems with having to reset this modem at all.

Fast modem, way better than my old zoom modem. This modem was rated highly.... And they were right!
