I have had Motorola modems for very long time but I never given serious thought about upgrading my old DOCSIS 2.0 with which I was very happy. Over the years the technology has changed and so is the internet usage. I started using a lot of internet capable devices and experiencing some problems especially when connected to multiple devices and when I saw this item on sale on BestBuy, immediately I am out to buy it. DOCSIS 3.0 High Speed modem from Motorola, what an upgrade. I can see immediately results with the same old router and same old internet connections. I can not talk much about technical details but you will definitely notice the difference. I immediately upgraded the internet tier to the next to get the most out of the modem. This product may not be very significant if your internet service is a moderate speeds (like 3-30 MBPS) but if you have a higher speed internet and still using 2.0 technology ..now is the time to get DOCSIS 3.0 modem and this is the best in the market.

Gets the speeds I am looking for and is very consistent.
