Product is a good item and seem to be working well.

I am happy with this product. I bought this for my Mom and she had no problems at all.

I decided to down size and save some money. Purchasing this item not only saves the rental fee each month you save on space. The size is really small but it packs the necessary ability to deliver. It also has an on-off button which I like. Nice product.

This is the first cable modem I've bought, and it seems quite good so far. There are times when my service is slow, but I think that likely has to do with surfing during high-traffic times on the internet. I'd recommend this unit - it does what it should, and the price is reasonable. I do wish the lights on it weren't so bright, but that's not a big deal, really.

Family got rid of twc combo modem/router and pair this with asus router and all is great!

I wanted to upgrade my cable modem to take advantage of the latest, fastest download speeds. Was concerned about Cox compatibility, but no problem there. A short call to the Cable provider, info provided to them, and the modem was up and running. Has run without a hiccup since then.

This modem is perfect for my needs. I do not like other modems that include the "All-In-One" style of modem/wireless/router capability. I like using separate components. This modem has a Gigabit port for the LAN side which is great as the data bandwidth is increasing these days it prevents any bottlenecking on your side. I have a 50MB/3MB connection at my house and this modem really cooks on the Internet. When they offer 107MB/5MB, I think I will ask them to turn my connection up as this is not even near the maximum speed this modem can handle. I highly recommend this modem to all seeking a quality product that really performs.

The Arris modem was recommended by Best Buy staff and was easy to install.

The modem provides speeds much greater than the modem provided by my cable provider.

Does the job fine for what I need but wanted it in black. I was able to attach it to the back of my entertainment center so it is fine now

I had a SURFboard modem for about 10 years before this purchase and that cable modem ran the entire time without ever given me a problem. That is why I gave the SURFboard by Motorola the first look when I wanted to update to DOCSIS 3.0 in order to take advantage of the higher speeds my cable provider offered. After researching online reviews, it validated my initial inclination and I went with the SURFboard SB6141. After 2 days of installing it, things didn't go so well. The modem would reboot every 5 minutes or so which would interrupt whatever I was doing online. I work from home so this became a big problem. The cable company initially thought it was the signal coming in but in the end it ended up being the modem that had failed. Technically I should probably have given this item a much lower rating but I'm given Motorola the benefit of the doubt that I just received a lemon. I took it back and the sales rep at Best Buy recommended the Netgear CM400 which was actually around $15 cheaper and is apples to apples in terms of speed and bandwidth. The Netgear has been working flawlessly ever since I hooked it up. Honestly unless your a diehard Motorola fan, I would consider looking into the Netgear CM400 for you next cable modem.
