This Cable Modem was very easy to setup. I just hooked it up to Comcast, and in about 5 minutes it was working. It is quite reliable. I like the connection light that tells you if your home router is 100GB. It turned out that my old and slow, and I had to get a new one. A few days after installing this cable modem, my connection was getting dropped intermittently. I called Comcast and they insisted it was the cable modem - that their connection was fine. They gave me the phone number for Motorola Tech Support. I didn't have to wait long, and Motorola Tech Support was very quick and professional. They determined it was Comcast's issue - the signal was too weak. So I told Comcast what Motorola had determined, and a Comcast technician came out and fixed my wiring. Do be aware that the Power and Internet LED's are green, BUT once the blue LED's come on, it is normal for the Power and Internet LEDs to look white not green.

Easy to install/use. Excellent for college student usage. Good price.

This cable replaces a three year old Zoom DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem which failed suddenly. I have had two other Motorola Cable Modems both DOCSIS 2.0. One failed after nearly ten years of use while the other is still alive and well and is nine years old. Very easy install and my ISP recommends these cable modems. Very stable throughput. Very good for streaming videos. Streams better than the Zoom did.

Easy plug and play set up. It comes with simple easy to follow instructions. A quick call to my internet provider and I was in business.

My DOCSIS 2.0 device stopped working with my Comcast internet account due to changes in Comcast requirements. I called Best Buy and they had DOCSIS 3.0 devices in stock. When I picked up the modem, It was on sale, about $20 less than they told me on the phone! The only problem I had was having Comcast recognizing it. Their Tecks in the Philippians had a hard time getting the letters in its MAC ID correct.

This modem was cheaper faster and better value than the one's at CoxCable Company.

Modem worked out of the box and works well with my ISP no problems linking it to them

Upgraded from outdated Time Warner lease. Have had zero issues with this modem.

Read many reviews about this and finally decided to get rid of my Comcast endless rental. This product was very easy to set up and is about a third the size of the Comcast monster. Only issue as mentioned in other reviews is the intensity of all the lights. It literally lights up the room. I had to place it way back against the wall, beneath the hearth of the fireplace so it wouldn't interfere with watching the TV. I plan to put it in a built-in cupboard in our new apartment to hide it. Otherwise, works great!
