I am not super tech savvy, and this modem was really easy to set up. It had a lot of good reviews, and the Best Buy associate mentioned this among others as being decent. It's been good so far, but time will tell as I have had it only 2 months.

Great price, very fast and most importantly why pay Comcast that 7.99-9.99 gateway fee. This modem is better, faster and smaller. Must have. After about 8-10 months it pays for itself. Easy to instal just have to reach out to Comcast to activate it.

I've had this modem for about a month now. It works flawlessly. In fact, it increased my Comcast speed from roughly 20mb/s to 40mb/s. It's a nice compact unit and has a couple keyholes for wall/shelf mounting. Would definitely recommend.

This modem works great. It was highly recommended by at least two of the store employees (who had purchased one for their own use). I brought this item home, called my cable internet provider (TWC) to activate it and it hasn't missed a lick since. So far, it has been far more reliable than the last modem that I had. Video streaming issues that I had with my old modem (wait while buffering, occasional garbled image, etc.) went away when I switched to this unit. I haven't tested the wireless features since I have it connected to a router with built-in WIFI. If you want a device that you can commission once and then forget about, this is the item for you.

The cable modem has run like a champ with Comcast. I simply plugged it in, gave Comcast the ID number, and it came right up. No hassles or mess. Speed has been what was expected and there haven't been any outages or issues.

Well a lot better then a Comcast modem. I have 105 Mbps and this modem is great testing on the speed.net it does up to 130 Mbps. I had 0 problems in past year with the modem.

I bought this modem so I could stop paying TWC every month for theirs. The modem was easy to set up and it works like a charm. I don't have to reset it all the time like I did with the TWC modem and the speed is great.

This was an upgrade for my old Motorola Docsis 2.0 modem. Comcast increased my data rate and this modem was easy to install and activate. My download speed more than doubled. My only negative: It does not have a disable switch.

This modem works far better than my old one that was about 6 years old. No lag issues when online gaming now. Very easy to set up. Cheaper to get here than purchasing from Comcast! Works with their top tier internet packages.

This was a necessary part to upgrade my home speed to 60 Mbps (requires DOCSIS 3.0 or higher). It was easy to install, was compatible with my service provider, and has worked well since I started it in my network.

The surfboard modems have always been very reliable and this one is no exception. It works well for its intended purpose, easy to set up and haven't had to touch it once since the initial setup was completed.

Excellent product. Well designed. Surfboard Docsis 3.0. High speed modem is a great value for the price point. Easy installation,easy hook up to Internet for wifi service. I would recommend this product .

Functions as advertised. Was a snap to setup. Contacted Time Warner technical support, who indicated this was an excellent product, and I was connected and communicating at full advertised speed in no time.

Great modem. Does what it is supposed to and even boosts speed. I had originally thought of investing more on a modem but I am very glad I did not since this really is better than I thought it would be.

I was using a borrowed modenm for my internet connect due to the fact the previous modem I purchased was defective.tried to hook it up myself with T.W.on the phone,unable to do.A time warner technical rep. came to my house and had a difficult time determining the modem was defective so to speed up the application I purchased a different product from Best Buy prior to sending back the defective one.Called T. W. again and had me hooked up in a couple minutes.Then I had to send the reps(T.W. Modem back via a Fed EX drop box.A lot of time and trouble but worth the knowledge I gained.(Knowledge Is Invalueable).End result> my MPS went up a minimum of 10 with this modem...,worth it's weight in gold.(Arris-SB6141)

Nothing to complain about. Got it to replace a 10 year old modem that finally gave up. Very easy to change everything out. Not complicated at all. Works very well plus was cheaper than I expected to pay!

Have had this for about a month and it works great. Fast internet and rarely has any problems. I have only had to reset my internet once so far And I'm pretty sure it was because of comcast not the modem.

I replaced my cable tv company's modem because I didn't want to pay $10.00 a month for an $80.00 piece of internet equipment. Very easy to set-up, very fast, stable and compact. Highly recommended! +++

The new Motorola Surfboard modem replaced an old surfboard modem from 2007. This is faster and easier to understand what happens when certain lights come on. The lights are marked and brighter as well.
