I have a 50 Mbps connection and this modem does exactly what you would expect. If you have a faster connection you may need the more expensive models.

This is a good quality cable modem that was easy to setup and install. Price makes it a much better deal than renting from the cable provider.

It is a great buy! This modem cam run the high speed Internet you desire without a problem. It is also small and won't take up a ton of your shelf space.

I noticed the price increase by Comcast for leasing their modem from $8 to $10. Thought about it and decided that buying my own would actually pay for itself. I reader he'd on Comcast website about the certified retail modems and this one stands at 3 stars, which apparently means that tested with all scenarios and works. I went for it. much better speed than the xfinity modem provided by Comcast. Note that this is just a internet modem and does not support the phone connection. Also I added a linksys ea300-np wireless router to help with wifi.

This modem has worked really well so far. It keeps a strong connection when paired with my netgear router and is able to run multiple devices off of it.

It was a great buy.Easy to install, works great. Compatible with most of the ISPs requirements(in my case TWC) and saving on modem rental too.

No problem after using it for more than a month now. It replaces a dead modem. Not a gamer, just regular home internet user. It serves my family well. And the price is reasonable.

I picked this up recently from Best Buy (they were running a great sale on it). Here are my thoughts: 1. It's small and compact so if you need to have it fit in a tight spot this should work great. 2. I've had this a few weeks now and it's been very stable. I haven't needed to reset it or anything like that 3. I have WOW! and it works great through them. If you're like me and you hate paying $10 a month to rent for a outdated modem from the cable company. pick this up! But check Best Buy first, it was $20 off a few weeks ago.

The cable company wanted to upgrade their modem we were using. Since they supplied us with a modem/router combo, we decided to purchase one on their list. It was more expensive than just a modem, but it seemed the way they were trending. However, that model wasn't as powerful as the router we already had. This new modem and our old router are a much better combo for us (and less expensive, having already purchased the router). ...And I could kick myself for having paid the cable company all that extra money over the years!

We were looking for an internet modem to reolace the one supplied by Cox Communications that had recently failed. Knowing very little about the subject, we were helped by a Best Buy sales associate who was very knowledgeable and walked us through the pros and cons of various models. He finally recommended a particular model that fit both our needs and our budget. We have been very satisfied with the product and our experience.

Bought it a few weeks ago. I was having slow internet with prior modem. This offer great download speed. Easy to install and connect.

I bought this modem to save the $5.99 a month TWC charges to lease their 7 year old modem that sells for $25 outright on Amazon. Such a rip off. Anywho, the modem is very easy to set up and I'm getting speeds like I should. I don't have a ton of devices, but use a laptop, PS3 and smartphone all at the same time with no issues on "only" a 15 MB line from TWC. I've had the modem a few months now and have only needed to reboot it once. Gotta spend some cash in order to save for internet today, do yourself a favor and buy a modem! This is a DOC 3.0 modem and is ready for the future for my area's offerings and my needs.
