Xfinity - no more rentals

Sadly no power backup but as I have it plugged into an UPS I'm ok. Also has 2 network ports, so if Xfinity offers additional IP addresses in your area, you can have two independent high speed connections. I asked Xfinity about activating the second port, they said I'd have to ask ARRIS...and the runaround started. Finally I learned online that if you look at the services in your area there is a little box and it will say "Second IP Address.....$$$". If it does you are good, if not sorry.

Cost of device was less than a years rental - device is paid off and I have no monthly rental payment.
