Stuck with what had served me well in the past

A little research showed that my modem was no longer supported and 5 years old. My old modem was also an Arris and I was excited about the new technology that is coming; plus I prefer to have my wi-fi router separate so this fit my needs and my home performance is much better now.

Dependable cable modem

Buy one fast enough to exceed the download speeds you are paying for from your internet provider. Plus if you need it to handle phone be sure it has those capabilities. That's it. This one is overpriced but works well.
