    Was looking to replace rental modem and upgrade speed as well. Needed modem with phone port, which this modem had. Not a lot of modems available with phone port. While this modem has phone port it does not provide WiFi like rental modem did, so I had to also purchase WiFi unit as well. Overall I have been pleased,

    Did not work for me as I needed the routing function. It is really a dumb modem. It does what it says it will do. It was me that put it in the wrong job. However I replaced it with a less expensive Motorola and the network was 100% faster throughput with all testing apps

    Even new out of the I still had to spend 2 hours on the phone with Xfinity and Arris support to get it to work. They told me in the end that the firmware was corrupt and needed to be reloaded.
