I returned the router. It wasn't compatible with my system

Will not work with Comcast. Returned for another brand.

I can’t answer if it’s a good product. Had to return it, it doesn’t support Wi-Fi. Best Buy employee gave us the wrong advice.

Made appt. for Best Buy to set up, they failed to show. Their failure to show resulted in 14 day return period passing Into social distancing commencing. No follow up by them upon distancing. No follow up still. Setup not so simple or so simple but product defective. Xfinity sort of got running after couple hours. No Best Buy but Xfinity. Whole reason went into Best Buy.

Save yourself some time and search puma chipset. This modem disconnects from xfinity every several days and needs to be powered on and off.

One star rating for the ARRIS-SURFboard Cable Modem. The Geek Squad did an excellent job trying to install the new modem, but despite their efforts the unit did not work. A second attempt to install the ARRIS modem was made by a technician from Spectrum, who also could not get it installed. The device is defective and needs to be replaced.

In my opinion you need a range extender for maximum use it’s ok but may be able to get better deal for the price

Purchased this about 3 months ago. Brought to my attention that while it claims to be supported by xfinity for up to 2gig service, it is not even on their list of 1gbps modems, and I'm stuck with 800mbps service. Avoid this more expensive modem like the plague, and if you want a arris modem get the s33 or g36, both newer and less expensive than this modem. I however am screwed.

Was told this was the correct router to get. Find out it doesn’t work with the provider we have. Even though the Best Buy rep said it would. Also learned the return policy is only 15 days.

Wrong product didn’t even hook up returned needed the one with wifi

I had to return 2 different ones. I plugged my old modem back in and it workes

Took Comcast coming out to the house replacing all their cables to determine the cause of slow network for me is this modem.

Unfortunately one of the two ports does not work. Have no patience to return and get a new one as the process is cumbersome.

I returned this because it didn’t have wireless capabilities. It wasn’t obvious when I purchased it but for the price I thought it would have.

was very finicky to get up and running no wifi took back after about 4 hours of not being to get to work

For some reason, it didn’t work well in my home. I took it back and got a Nighthawk.

Did not have a built in WiFi so it was no use for me.

Giving it 4stars bcuz I've only had it a short time. However, I don't anticipate any problems. Once installed & provisioned it immediately resolved the buffering on all wifi devices in my network experienced with my old eMTA. It was easy to install, a little more difficult to provision (self setup wasn't working, had to call xfinity support). Also cuts the equip fee from my internet bill, so it'll pay for itself in roughly a year. That alone makes it worth buying.
