Arris T25 for Xfinity
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought to use on Xfinity Internet. I was able to install and connect to internet and my WiFi router in a few minutes. Continues to function well at 1 GB.

Comcast could not get to work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After following setup instructions, was not getting internet. Tested hardwire from cable modem to computer and to wireless router and no go. So I called Comcast for support and they set it up on their end and said I was good to go, but internet and phone not working. My router said there was no DHCP from ISP. Comcast said it was my gear, but then gave up and had the go back to their Advanced Gateway and it of course worked like a charm. I am sure there is nothing wrong with the modem, but for now stuck with still having to rent DOCSIS 3.1 modem for gig speed and phone needs.

Works well no issues

It is performing well, no dropped connections. I did have to call Xfinity for them to connect on their end because the app would not work. The only downside, it has 2 ethernet ports but you can only use 1 unless you set up the other one with Xfinity. Overall, would recommend as a good replacement.

You will need time with Xfinity technical support to get it going. The pain was trying to get through Xfinity call system. Approx. 4 attempts to reach a technical person, however, that person knew what they were doing. So far so good. Wish we would of done this years ago. Probably paid for at least several through rental prices.
