Bought this to get away from the cable company’s outrageous charges for a small piece of crap router and I did my homework on which one to buy and have NOT been disappointed at all. This thing works great in our home and signal is awesome!!!

This is the 2nd one I have bought to update to the new Docsis standard. I had a cable installer tell me to get these rather than rent because they are faster and better than what they supply. It is also cheaper in the long run!

I decided to buy my own equipment instead of renting the cable company's garbage. Man I couldn't be happier. Super fast and stable modem. I'm getting 63megs down over a wireless connection on a basic cable internet package. Kudos to the Best Buy associate who helped me pick out my new equipment. He was very helpful.

Bought this to replace SB6141. Had connection problems where I had to reboot my modem daily. Internet was working only few hours after rebooting then timed out. Called Comcast multiple times but problems continued. With this upgraded modem connection problem is fixed and get better download speed.

No trouble so far. I got this modem to kind of future-proof myself for the foreseeable future. It has no trouble keeping up with my ISP's paltry 200Mb down / 10Mb up plan. Perhaps it would struggle if there was more competition to offer faster data speeds where I live, but as it is, this modem serves its purpose.

Unbelievable performance, easy setup and simple to use.

I had no idea what I needed, I only knew I wanted better than what the cable company rents. After explaining what I wanted to the Best Buy tech he recommended this modem. I don't know the specs, all I know is we are now happy with our internet speed so it's doing its job. I haven't regretted the purchase.

I got this because I was cancelling my cable package and needed a docs is 3.0 modem. So far no issues. When setting it up the instructions said the lights should turn grin but mine never did. They turned white. The tech on the phone for cox said that sometimes with these they are white even though the instructions say they will turn green but everything was signaling and reading OK. I have not had any issues with performance and would recommend

Upgraded from a previous model. Very fast and reliable.

The main reason I purchased this cable modem was because the TWC (Time Warner Cable) modem had to be replaced every month like clock work. They were also charging me a rental fee for their piece of junk. Now I'm saving eight dollars a month and haven't made any calls to TWC about my modem crapping out. Yabba Dabba Do!!!!!!

This cable modem seems to be very fast and reliable.

Initial review The reason for this purchase was that I was paying for 600 for xfinity and was barely getting it with my old modem. After installing this modem I instantly got 600+ on wired connection and 400 wireless. So far so good.

Get if you are satisfied with medium speed internet. Typical users browsing and reading email can save money with medium-speed internet. I upgraded to 400 Mbps and a 3.1 modem improved speed by 20%. I went with 3.1 but I work online in an IT job. This older 3.0 version should be cheaper and work fine.

Very easy to setup with Comcast - be sure to read the Comcast "how to" site and register your phone to receive the access code before starting. Only drawback I see is if you are using the modem in a bedroom; the front panel LEDs are bright and there is no way to configure them (but masking tape works well).

Swapped out a Comcast modem that was costing $17/month for this modem that comes with a 2 year warranty. Overall performance is exceptionally better than the Comcast provided SMB modem. Highly recommend this modem to save money, and see increased performance from your Comcast service.

Is easy install, and good work, the connection is easy is come whit cable ethernet

Our internet speed was lagging. We had a call into our internet company and they were scheduled to come repair our lines coming into the house since they were damaged and old. We decided to update all our equipment indoors and all seems to be working properly and we do notice faster speeds and multiple connections.

Well it was time for us to upgrade our net gear router we bought 7 years ago from Best Buy. To this particular one. Easy setup easy install and now can handle our faster speed and current technology and our modem doesn’t keep going off and on and at weird times and less buffering !

Super fast, great price/value, highly recommend it.
