Plug and play! Just had to call spectrum to update my Mac ID, then just plugged back in my router and was done! I know spectrum would give me a modem for free, but their equipment is junk... now I have no issues getting my max download and upload speeds

It is way better than my previous Netgear, which broke down in only 11 months, for sure! I will observe how it goes, but this one surely gives faster Internet (with the same internet connection). It turns on a bit slower than average, but it's okay, as long as it is stable.

I loved my old Surfboard SB6141. The Arris Surfboard is even better. It supports up to 1.4MBps downstream with 32 channels and is able to handle all the devices I have connected to Wi-Fi. It's a large capacity modem and works great for me. Highly Recommended.

Seems to work fine. I am getting 230 mbs download speed from Spectrum while paying for 200 mbs so I think the modem is fine. Easy to hook up. I would suggest upgrading your Ethernet cabling to Cat6 if you’re using older cabling. I was getting 170-180 mbs with older cat5 cables.

My last surfboard modem died. This one has been great. Fast and reliable. If your spending this much for the fastest modem just remember docsis 3.0 is on its way out. 3.1 is a lot faster and just around the corner. Check with your provider. This modem works great with Cox.

    Works Well But...

Works well but not a major improvement over my old DOCSIS 3 modem. It is an improvement, however you will notice little difference. I was hoping it would speed up my online gaming and video steaming to Firesticks a bit. It does, but there is still some lag and stutter.Excellent for fast web surfing. Cable company internet at 120Mbps average. LINKSYS EA9500 MAX-STREAM router.

Works flawlessly. Sad that we still have people passing on disinformation that there is a flaw in the Puma 6 chipset from Intel. The issue was a potential security issue in the firmware and was addressed years ago.

It works great so far. I notice because of the size, it doesn't want to stand up and wants to fall down because the cables and connections want to pull it. It is extremely lightweight. Much better than the cable company box.

I tried a Netgear cable modem but it didn't work. The reviews for Arris were positive so I gave it a try. It connected easily and was compatible with my Netgear router. I am pleased with this modem. I use Comcast as my cable service and their internet works well.

I purchased this to switch to Time Warner Cable, and to work with a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 wireless router. I subscribed to 100 Mbps internet, and this modem delivers that and more without any issues! Highly recommend!
