Purchase For myself (comcast) and one as a gift (optimum) no problems great product. Do not rent the provider's modem his this is an affordable way affordable way recommended.

Replaced the basic Arris modem provided by my cable company, and has improved performance over the old basic model. My tech that helps me keep my relics up and running said that this was one of the better modems on the market. So far so good. Thanks Best Buy and Arris.

I have noticed a big difference in this modem vs. the Comcast one.

My household constantly has at least 4 teenagers playing on multiple Xbox consoles at any given time. This modem never breaks a sweat and handles the demands of gaming and streaming movies with ease. While it's a bit more expensive than I'do like it to be, I'd buy it again.

This modem is very good and well worth the price. Very easy to set up.

It's a cable modem and seems to be quote fast, a lot faster than the old Comcast one I was using. However, if you put this anywhere that light is going to be an issue (like a bedroom) be aware that the LED lights on it are ABSURDLY bright. I have to throw a shirt over it every night and while the shirt is briefly nice and warm when I put it on, it's not optimal.

I bought this modem because my ISP modem was no longer compatible with their new system. Setup was easy. I plugged it in power cable, hooked up the coax cable, and called the ISP to give them the MAC address. Once all that was done I was up and running within 5-10 min.

It works perfectly with Cox (I have the 150Mbps plan). You don’t really need DOCSIS 3.1 to work for a low-bandwidth plan like me.

Bought this modem to replace my cable companies 2 in 1 box. Once I realized I had to call the cable company to switch the accout from there box to my new box, everything has worked great.

It’s worth it the money I pay for.good quality connections.

After 3 1/2 years my old Surfboard (they were labeled from Motorola then, now it's called Arris). I bought this to replace it. While I was at it, I replaced the switch and bought some Cat 6 cables as well. WOW! I'm speedtesting downloads almost 30% faster! (I'm on Cox).

This modem is perfect for what I needed. I provides fast speed and is easy to setup.

This modem is fantastic! I subscribe to my service for up to 25mbps. Since installing I have had nothing less than 40mbps and have maxed out around 70mbps! For those looking to upgrade, remember this, it's always better to purchase your modem and router separately.

We bought this when our old cable modem went out. I took advantage of a cable internet offer our company had going and this was the modem they recommended. It was easy to set up and works well. No problems at all.

all modems are the same right? ...WRONG. New innovative ways of delivering packets through a wire are why internet speeds get faster. I was getting 75mps on my old Netgear. I am getting 180mps with this. Only chose this brand because it was on sale.

I really was not sure what modem to purchase. Went with this one and am happy. Great connection, Great speeds, and the price was very good. My son has the same brand (different model) and is very happy.

I have a 400mg down connection and around 25 wireless devices connected to my google mesh network and a network switch with multiple wired connections. This modem made my internet more efficient and actually fixed an issue that my ISP wouldn't even fix.
