My Arris-SURFboard 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem provides fast downloads of movies I like. Little grandkids can be impatient with downloads. With no built in router, there is no signal confusion. I own it. I don't pay a rental fee.

This is rhe perfect match when you want a full control of tour network, if you are using your own router and access points, this stand alone modem matches with any good brand of network devices. Also you will stop paying monthly rent to your ISP.

Super easy set up, no issues (yet). Keep in mind if you're buying it that there is only only one ethernet port, so if you want anything hardwired your router will need to have extra ports

I needed a new cable modem, and the ARRIS-SURFboard did the trick!

This product is simply amazing. There is no WiFi paired with it but that’s why I got it. Couple this with google WiFi mesh system and I doubled my download speeds with paying for the extra high bandwidth.

Works great. Bought to replace modem that was 9 years old.

My old Router gave out on me. Called the cable company and ask a tech. what they would recommend. They recommend the Arris 3.1, or the Arris 3.0 Best Buy didn’t have 3.1 in stock. Looked at reviews online. This one had good reviews. Easy setup.

Old modem stopped working and Xfinity suggested I purchase another. The modem is faster than the last and hasn't gone down since purchase.

Have loved the speed of my internet since the upgrade I my data service and purchase of this cable modem. It is the same modem sold by my provider yet I got it for a fraction of the cost.

Got when my absolutely ancient SURFboard modem finally bit the dust (literally 10 minutes before I was supposed to clock in for work, because of course it did). I upgraded my speed once I got it, so I'm uncertain if it was the modem working out newness-caused kinks or my ISP, but I had some drops in internet at first. But I've gone several months now without an issue that isn't ISP related. Very happy with ARRIS as always. Hope this one lasts 7 years like the last one did.

Buy the newest technology you can afford. Especially when it is already priced right. It worked and lives up to that which was advertised. It is virtually the same modem offered by the cable providers, but faster and you don't have that monthly rental fee.

Recently changed many plugs, switches etc to Smart devices and needed a new Modem to handle the upgrades. So far after a couple of months, this one has been flawless. Would highly recommend for such usage.

Been running this for over 5 years and works perfect! Saved me all that rental money from Comcast!

Tested with Comcast Blast package I achieved 150 Mbps with 16 channels down and 4 up. The good thing is that it supports up to 32 channels down and 8 up for a theoretical 1.4 Gbps. So far no issues and I notice multitasking happens a lot faster with no disconnects.

I purchased this to replace my previous modem that did not support TWC 200Mbps speeds (it topped out at 100). This modem is listed on TWC website as supporting speeds of 200Mbps and I am consistently getting between 220Mpbs and 230Mbps download and 20Mbps upload.

Don’t rent Suddenlink’s equipment, purchase your own. So far so good, we switched internet providers and I decided to purchase my own equipment. It’s been working without issues. Plus, it was super easy to install!

Got the job done. I have Xfinity internet. I had hard reset the modem because it was dropping the signal after install. No problems from there.

I recently got service w/XFinity on a 400mb connection and needed a modem that could handle it easily. After reading reviews, I settled on this Arris model. So far, zero dropouts and speed has been constant and consistent.
